Chapter 12 - The Truth, or half of it!

"Demons lie" I said, remembering what Rich had said,

"We do, but not always"

"Why did you even befriend me without telling me? Why do you talk to me? Why did you make me trust you and consider you as really good friends, almost like older brothers? It's barely been 2 weeks and I feel like that about you, then I find out your demons, so you just tell me what you really want from me, do you want to kill me? Do you want to kill my family? Because I saw you kill those hunters and hunters or not, they were human and that's what I am...so please do tell"

"You were different, you are different, not like every other girl who goes to sixth form. Girls who constantly drool over us, yet say nothing. No one has ever, in all the R.S lessons I've been in, said that there must be some good Demons and that they are, we are, bad Angels. People just see us as some evil, monster, a demon has no soul and doesn't deserve to have one, but you, you think different. You're so innocent, when I first saw you, and looked into your soul, I knew you were special with the surname Angel, that kind of made us make up our minds" Trent explained,

"For us to hear that you think of us as older brothers, as really good friends. Everyone thinks demons can't feel, demon is just a name, like you said, we are bad Angels, and you know why, we believed Lucifer was right about how God was loving all you humans more than his own family. Humans who destroy each other, so when Lucifer got banished, all those who stood with him were banished too. We were fallen Angels, who fell into the depths of hell" Brayden said,

"We don't want to kill you, we don't want to kill your family, we just want to be friends Angel and maybe..." Trent said, I interrupted him,

"Is Logan a demon too?"

"Logan's..." Trent didn't finish his sentence as my brother came back in,

"We'll see you soon Angel" Trent said,

"Take care" Brayden said,

"You don't have to leave on my account "Cyrus said,

"We were leaving anyway" Trent answered, then they both left, closing the door behind them. They were  genuinely nice people. But I am still none the wiser about Logan. Though all my senses are telling me he too is a Demon.

"So are you going to tell me?"

"Tell you what?" I asked,

"Tell me about the mysterious boys, tell me everything Sis'. Shit...I'm so glad you're okay," he said, I hugged him, he hugged me back carefully.

"I love you Cyrus"

"I love you too"

He sat on my bed and we ate some chocolate and I told him everything, well apart from the fact I just found out the Sanchez's were Demons. I think I needed to get my head around that before I told my older brother.

Dad came in later that day to see me. He told Cy' to go home and refresh. I didn't really want to talk to Dad. I was still non the wiser who the person was on the phone, but I didn't want to ask him.

Thankfully Tori, Crystal and Brad came to visit, which cheered me up a lot, well it saved me from talking to Dad. He went off to the café to do some work, said he didn't want to interrupt us. Yeah, he just wanted to go off and talk to this mystery woman.

"So sorry we couldn't see you earlier, our tutor sends her best to you, we were so worried when we heard" Tori said,

"Who told you?" I asked,

"Someone rang up the school and told them what had happened to you and that you wouldn't be in school, for a while" Crystal answered,

"Oh...well thank you for coming to see me, where's Logan?"

"We haven't seen him or the Sanchez's for a couple of days now" Brad answered, "Not that we're worried about the Sanchez's, but Logan isn't usually like this". I wasn't going to tell them I'd seen the Sanchez's earlier on. It wouldn't have made much difference. But I was worried about Logan; I know I shouldn't be, because if he is a Demon he can take care of himself...but still.

They left after 2 hours, Dad came back in but I pretended I was asleep; he just sat in the chair next to my bed reading. It felt like years until Cyrus came back,

"Sssh" Dad said, as he walked in, "She's been sleeping for a couple of hours now". Couple of hours, man it seemed like waaay longer.

"Are you going home?"

"I have to see someone"

"The mystery woman who you won't tell me about. You lost Mum Dad, do you really want to lose your children too?"

"I'll be back later" he said and left, as soon as I heard the door shut I sat up,

"I knew you weren't asleep" Cy' said to me,

"So you don't know about this mystery woman either" I said,

"No, but I will, it's true Sis', it was Dad who made Mum leave with all his secrets, does he really want to lose us as well?"

"Probably", the doctor came in 5 minutes later,

"Tammara, how are you feeling?" my doctor asked,

"Bored", he laughed,

"Well then I have come bearing good news, you are able to go home tomorrow morning"

"Oh thank you" I said,

"Cyrus may I have a word",

"Sure, I'll be back in a minute Sis'", I nodded and they left. Finally I can go home, all I have to do is get through the night, which shouldn't be too much trouble then I'm free. Well kind of free, will be on crutches which totally sucks, but it won't be for long, hopefully anyway. Cyrus came in a few minutes later,

"I've been told by instruction from your doctor that you mustn't do much for a week, you'll be on crutches for at least two, maybe more but you'll have to go and have check-ups...he said your ribs will be tender and achy, he'll prescribe you some painkillers for them though, and everything else seems to be under control"

"Can I go to school?"

"Yes on Monday you can go to school, but if I don't think you're up to it then no"

"Great, so when am I going home tomorrow?"

"Around 10am, I'll come and pick you up"

"Are you staying for two weeks?" I asked,

"I'm staying as long you need me"
