I burst into the nurse's office, a protesting Hestia in my arms. Setting her on the nearest bed I step outside to talk to Mrs. Furgeson the head nurse. I ask her to take a look at Hestia and make sure she's okay. Trying to keep my anger under control i explain that i think shes been abused at home. Once Mrs Furgeson gives Hestia a once over i sit down on the bed next to her." what happend" i say holding her tiny hand in mine. Tears start streaming down her face as she buries her face in her hand. Sobs rock her tiny body. Pulling her close i pat her on the head. Once she has calmed down she begins to tell me about her home life. how her father is abusive and how she wishes she could escape. Holding her close I realize that she needs someone to be there for her. " do you want to leave you're home." I ask. Nodding her head vigorously she looks up at me with hope. " why don't you come live with me in our gated community. You can stay with one of my family's friends. Giving me a big hug she agrees a smile finally spreading across her face. We made plans that I would come to pick her up at the bus stop near her house after her father falls asleep. Once I get home I tell the pack the plan and that we cant tell her we are werewolves

I think I'm in love. Since day one Vincent made me feel special and loved and now whenever he's near my heart beats so hard ist almost unbearable. Now he's willing to take me away from my horrible life and give me a chance to start anew. I practically skip home. When i get home dad had laid down for a nap. Carefully grabbing a duffle bag and hastily stuff all of my belongings into it. He grins as i approach and opens the door for me. Once we are on the road Vincent asks " are you sure you want to do this." I nod leaning against the window. Soon we arrive a the gated community. Its already past 11 pm but my heart beats out of my chest as he walks me to the house of my host family who are standing on the porch. Walking up to us they introduce themselves the womens name was Whitney and the husband's name was Kyle and their sons name was riley who was hiding behind his mothers' skirt. after they sow me the house i go to bead in an actual bed for the first time in forever.
