Chapter 25

"I like you, Kim Jisoo"

Jisoo was too stunned to speak with the sudden confession.

But Jisoo didn't have the time to respond when Jennie suddenly closed the gap that was left between them and claimed her lips.

Her eyes widened.

'What the fuck is happening?! Am I dreaming?' Jisoo was lost in her thoughts

Then Jennie started to move her lips against Jisoo, that's when Jisoo snapped out from her thoughts and a few seconds later, she finally kissed Jennie back.

Their lips are moving in sync.

It was a slow and gentle kiss.

Neither of them doesn't wants to end it but they need to.

Jennie was the one who pulled away from the kiss then she rested her forehead to Jisoo's.

Jisoo was still in a daze.

"Chu" She broke the silence and opened her eyes.

Jisoo's eyes are still closed. She thought that Jennie could probably hear her heart beating.

Jennie pulled back a little so she can look at Jisoo then she started caressing her cheek with her thumb that's when Jisoo finally open her eyes.

Jennie smiled at her softly.

"J-Jennie." Jisoo looked at her with teary eyes, she doesn't why but she just want to explode with happiness

"Since when?" Jisoo asked

"Hmm. I'm not really sure but those days that we don't talk to each other made me miss you so much and you can't get out of my mind and the kiss. Chaeyoung would keep asking me if I like you and I always ignore the question or not answer it directly but earlier I just realized that I really like you Jisoo."

"Did you know that you just made me so happy right now?" Jisoo asked while looking at Jennie lovingly

Jennie giggled. "why?"

"Because the woman that I like so much just confessed that she likes me too and I even got to kissed those beautiful lips" Jisoo pecked her lips

Jennie giggled and smiled before it turned into a sad smile.

"What's wrong, Jen?"

"You know that we can't continue this, right?"

Jisoo smiled sadly as well. "I know"

"I'm sorry"

Jisoo looked into Jennie's eyes cupping her cheeks. "It's okay. My feelings for you won't change no matter what. You make me happy, Jen. Even though we are just friends. As long as you won't stay away from me." then she kissed her forehead

"You make me happy also, Chu. I told you my feelings because I can't take them anymore. I want to be honest with you. I really like you, Jisoo and I missed you so much. Ella missed you too."

"I missed you and Ella so much as well. We can spend time together next time, how about that?" She asked smiling sweetly at Jennie

Jennie nodded happily. "Can I have a request, Chu?"

"Of course, what is it?"

"Can you pretend that I'm yours and I'll pretend that you're mine? Even just for tonight?" Jennie asked while looking straight into Jisoo's eyes

Jisoo's eyes went wide. "W-what?"

"I wanna know the feeling of being yours, Kim Jisoo. It has been so long since I'm feeling like this. You're making me so happy, Chu. I want to be yours even just for tonight."
