"I quit.", I say slamming the files onto Nayeon's desk.

"Excuse me-"

"I quit, Ms. Nayeon. I didn't sign up to be kissed on by some criminal!", I say.

She looks at me. I scan her face and many emotions are displayed - but I can't read them.

"What now."

"Su-hyeok kissed me. I'm a straight man, Ms.Nayeon."

She looks at me and grabs the files.

"I understand Mr. Lee. I'll find somebody else for the case.", she says and deeply sighs.

I bow before leaving. I wasn't going to let a criminal fall for me. I don't even like guys. (first stage: denial)

"Mr. Lee", Wu-jin stops me

I stop to look at Wu-jin

"How did it go?", he asks with a warm smile

It went fine, Wu-jin. Thanks for asking.", I say and pat his shoulder.

Wu-jin bows and goes to his office.

Wu-jin has always been a nice partner to work with. He always gets the job done; that's what I like about him.

I go to my office and sit down. Jeez, I still have a lot of paper work to do... I start going through my papers seeing what I need to work on.

Under most of my papers, I see a case on Su-hyeok. Why does my case work have to remind me of that idiot. I throw the paper to the side and start working on the important stuff

I lift my head up off my work papers and look at my phone. Did I fall asleep? I grab my phone and I groan

UNKNOWN NUMBER IS CALLING

These dumbass scammers calling me, jeez.

I pick up the phone and listen.

"Hello, Lee-san"

My heart dropped when I heard the voice. Why was he calling me.

"What do you want."
