Chapter 2:project

Later during the day, the intercom told everyone to go to the auditorium for a special event. Everyone went and sat down in the seats, then the principal said something about trying out for clubs, and Student Council and stuff.
Since Tyler is super competitive, he thought he might as well try out for Student Council.

"Robotic club?" Said Mei
"I think that would be fun! Experiencing new stuff at this school, that's impressive , I really am liking the efforts that the principal is doing right here" said Miriam giggling
" I think you could use your mega math mind to help you create this kind of stuff" added Priya

Abbey nodded "Yeah! You're like super smart! Smarter than me!,, And Carter Mayhew!" She shouted forcedly, throwing her first in the air.

Tyler would hear the uproar coming from Abbey, looking at the group, but mainly staring at Mei. 'shes so cute' he thought to himself

Everyone then heard the principal say that they will work in the club as groups
And that the art teachers of each class will choose the group members

"Mei, Miriam,Abby, Priya and .... Tyler" said the art teacher of Mei's class
"TYLER??" All the girls said in one voice turning to the guy that was looking at them too

Tyler nervously waved at them. He did feel bad for being mean to Mei. But not the rest of the girls. He had a specific liking for Mei Mei.

"BUT Ms. Teacher! I don't think we'll get along very well.. oh well! More teasing for me! Hehehe" he said the last words in a lower voice grinning.

"YEAH! he's been so mean to-" Miriam have been interrupted by Meilin saying: "We're good Ms ... We'll figure out how to get along well"
And with that, the girl group's jaws dropped looking at Mei confused
"But Mei! That's your daily bully we're talking about!!" Whispered Abby
"I know but .. let's give him a chance?" Mei said forming a little smile on her face
"What have you done to my Mei-Mei? who are you?" Said Abby jokingly
"But, would you be okay?" Asked Miriam with a concern look
"Haha come on girl what's the worst that can happen? Besides, if he tries something funny my red panda got my back" said Mei grinning

Tyler overheard their conversation and sighed. He knew Miriam, Abby, and Priya wouldn't trust him at all anymore. It sucks really.

Mei then looked at Tyler and made eye contact, then slowly walked to him.
"Hey, i know we're not ... Close, but I'm hoping that this won't affect the project so .."
She raised her hand waiting for him to shake it
"Team work?" She continued looking at him

Tyler noticed she had walked over to him. She's standing right in front of him. "Uh.. teamwork I guess. Just tell your friends like.. not to obsess over boys the entire time" he joked. I guess he does have a sense of humor

"Pff look who's talking now you're already head over heals for Aaron z even your entire look is inspired by him loooool" she laughed slightly blushing

Tyler furrowed his eyebrows "I'm not in love with Aaron Z!" He crossed his arms. He totally wasn't in love with Aaron Z. (P.s he is, lol) "did you just say 'lol' out loud?"

"Er, that part was cringe haha" she laughed nervously
She smiled at him warmly and walked to her friends

"the lol?" He asked. "Oh okay then. Wait okay, so where are we meeting up at?" He asked them. Then the bell rang. "Nevermind" he sighed and grabbed his things, going to his locker

At the time the girls were chatting about where will they start their project at
"What about your place?" Asked Miriam.
"Orrrrr does your mom still hate me or some?" She added
"Oh no no no you're so welcomed! I don't think mom will have a problem with having you over!" Said Mei confidently
"Well then it's confirmed!! Let's burn this place to the grouuuuuuund!!!!" Said an over excited Abby about the project
They high fived and went home.
But Mei quickly rushed to school without the girls noticing and went to find Tyler before he's gone to tell him where they should meet.
