It was another case solved for detective Indle, who worked for the homicide division of NYPD. Indle, who hadn't taken a shower since last night, fondled with his chestnut coloured hair at the strands, eye bags under his eyes, his tatted dark blue tie tucked in his now coffee-stained shirt. Just then, his partner steadied himself with a case file.

"We got another case indie - a woman in her 20's found in an alleyway" announced his partner, detective Paruski. Paruski was a 30-year-old man who kept pushing the boundaries on what to wear. His hair was jet black, smelling of paper ink, his stubble beard making itself known.

As they arrived at the location, the once clear blue sky turned into murky clouds, disturbing the peaceful atmosphere. The first on the scene was Paruski, darting underneath the bright tape, that had sectioned off the crime scene from the public. Paruski came back and ushered Indle to the side. "Paruski what are you doing? I need to go and do my job"

"Have you heard from Callie recently?" he questioned. "Not since a week ago, why?" Indle replied. Before Paruski could answer, Indle barged passed him and saw the mutilated corpse of his little sister. He proceeded with being shocked and disgusted at how his sister had been just left in the alleyway like garbage. "Right Tina what have you found?" he gulped. "Hey, you shouldn't be here Indie" tina suggested. "And you shouldn't question me- so what have we got?"  he said. She sighed, "Callie Indle, 20 years of age, found in the back of this alleyway with contusions to the whole body and including the mutilated face. Time of death would need to be determined with the ME, but my guess is yesterday at 10 pm"

"Paruski, find out who she had been with last night. I'll sort out the family things" said Indle, as he plodded outside the scene and into his mustang. He took a minute to gather himself over his sister's murder. Rage filled him - like overfilling an ice cream cone. His fist connected with the dashboard, making him wince in pain. But that didnt stop him from making a family reunion.
