Gym

Of course on the day I have to go to the gym I'm having the best sleep. I struggle to turn my 5:00 alarm off and wiggle out from under Vinnie as I make my way to the bathroom to get ready.

I try not to be too loud and wake up Vinnie but I fail and pause my breathing to listen for shuffling in the bedroom. After a little I release my breath and turn on the shower.

I continue my normal routine grab my body wash and oil and hop in the shower. In the middle of washing my face I feel cold air behind me and ignore it because I stay paranoid whenever I'm in the shower.

I ignore it and rinse off my face moving on to my feminine wash . As I do Vinnie grabs the wash out of my hand. I turn around and play surprised as he's about to put it on his face.

"That's vagina wash sir." I say as I grab his wrist taking the bottle back. He drowsily chuckles rolling his eyes and grabs another random body product from the shower rack.

"No 'Good morning baby, did you sleep well?' that's fine" he says jokingly in his morning voice.

"Good morning baby did you sleep well?" I say mocking him but procced to hug him anyways. He hugs back and kisses up and down my neck mumbling "I..did...did you?" in between kisses.

As we finish up showering he cleans my waist beads and watches me put on oil.

"Why you up so early baby?" I question as I spray my perfume onto my bare skin.

"I wanna go to the gym with you today."

'That's a first' I think to myself as we finish and leave the bathroom. Walking into the kitchen I begin to make a protein shake and Vinnie drinks half. Before grabbing my keys and jacket I make a big water bottle.

Getting to the gym I scan my tag at the front desk and I go put my stuff in a locker. When I walk out I see Vinnie on the other side of the gym by the weight bench. I act like any other day and begin stretching.

I eventually move over to a weight rack and I can see Vinnie staring at me through the mirror. We make eye contact making me giggle as I continue working out. I notice a guy next to me trying to make eye contact with me but I can't say anything and risk dropping the weight on my neck.

I guess Vinnie noticed way before me because before I could even react he was behind me blocking the creepy dudes view. I finish my set and make my way around the gym to different machines.

The guy followed us around the gym subtly but Vinnie definitely noticed and wouldn't leave my side. He eventually gives up because Vinnie is unrelenting. I finish up my workout because I can tell Vinnie's still uncomfortable.

Walking out of the gym I hear Vinnie say "You know I'm gonna have to come with you from now on right?" in more of a statement tone than a question. I nod my head not even attempting to fight him on it and knowing he'll be clingy the rest of the day.

"Yes DAD I know." I say in a smart-ass tone.

"You forgot the d-y" I start to speed walk away from his thirsty joke knowing he'll follow after me regardless.

"As long as you know." he says with a look of satisfaction on his face.
