6.15.1990

An ear-deafening noise woke Tracy from her peaceful midday sleep. Groaning, she opened her eyes and glanced at the alarm clock. Fuck. Already 6 PM! Apparently the alarm had been ringing for some time before it woke her up...  After coming back from her morning shift at Easy Street this afternoon, she only had made herself a little meal and had immediately fallen into a coma-like sleep. God, Chris is gonna kill me if I don't show up to see the band perform tonight, she thought. Chris was her Best friend since they were kids. He lived across the street at that time and since Tracy could remember, he had always been her best friend and the person she trusted the most. He was in a band called Soundgarden for a couple of years now and since they first started out, Tracy had seen almost every show they've had. She enjoyed seeing them. They were actually really good and Tracy felt very proud of the guys. Tonight they were gonna perform in a small club with Alice in Chains, another Band from her hometown Seattle, that Tracy and the SG guys were pretty close friends with. Since Tracy's boyfriend Brian left Seattle to take a job in England for half a year, Tracy had more time to hang out with Chris and her other friends. They went to shows of local bands, where Tracy was often hired to take pictures, they met in the bars of Seattle or they just hung at someone's house drinking and smoking a little pot, listening to records, talking and playing games. But now Tracy only had a little more than half an hour to get ready, before Chris wanted to come and pick her up. So she made her way to the bathroom and took a look in the mirror. As expected, she looked as if she had just got up. She sighed and began to comb her wavy, dyed red hair. She quickly brushed her teeth and put on her ruby red lipstick and a little mascara. After that she picked up an outfit from her messy closet. She chose a random band shirt, a short, patterned skirt with some black thighs and her docs. Tracy didn't really care about clothes anyway. Then she quickly grabbed her bag, in which she had put her camera and just as she threw on her leather jacket, the doorbell rang. Tracy opened and a few seconds later, Chris stood in the door with a grinning face.

"Ready to go?", he asked, still with a broad smile on his face.

Chris was a pretty tall guy with long dark brown curls. He wore baggy black cargo shorts, a black shirt and a brown leather jacket with black Doc Martens. Around his wrists he wore quite a lot of brown leather bracelets. He had a pretty face and those beautiful mesmerizing hazel gray eyes. Recently he had also grown a small beard over his lip and on the chin that looked pretty good on him.

"Always.", Tracy answered, now also grinning back at him.

"Well, let's go then", Chris said and put his arm around her shoulder, as they started walking out the door.

                                                                    ...

Even before the two entered the club, they could hear the loud music and the babble of voices inside. They went inside and greeted some people they knew. The two walked towards the, so called, backstage area  which was actually just a small dressing room with an old, ripped couch and smeared walls. They chatted with the Alice guys for a while and wished them luck for their show. Then they went back and made their way to the bar and as they ordered a beer Tracy asked Chris:

"Where are the Love Bone guys? Haven't seen them yet."

As the boy was about to open his mouth for an answer, Tracy suddenly heard a familiar voice right behind her.

"Are you guys talking about me?"

"Stone!"

"Hi Tracy!", Stone greeted her pleased.

"Hey Man.", he said over to Chris.

"What's up, Stoney?", Chris asked and patted him on the shoulder.
