This is my first official publication on this platform despite having had this profile for quite some time.
This story will first and foremost center around Zayn Malik. I've been a fan of Zayn since late 2015, post one direction. This means I missed out on the peak of shipping wars, racists fans, and the Bradford Bad Boy persona pushed down y'all throats. Instead, I found Zayn through his honesty about Anxiety and his various bouts with mental health.
This different introduction to Zayn, has shaped the way I now view "Zarry".

With various popular youtubers analyzing their interactions, I noticed a theme of Zayn being viewed as the problem area, with many saying he does not deserve many of the things he has acquired. Something I don't agree with. Mostly because I look at actions and reception outside of their own moments with each other.
Zayn has always been infantilized by his peers and regarded as a soft-spoken and caring individual by people who have encountered him. Critical thinking will signal that there is a disconnect between him being regarded as this "too nice to hurt a fly" man and "He only used him for his body" man. But that's a discussion for the romanticization and subsequent feminization of Harry Styles as a means to mold him into a soft boy because he happens to dress more freely (King behavior). Though in actuality Zayn and Harry dress the opposite of their personality traits.

Hence why this story is a "canon divergence" of a world where Zarry was very much so something previously and how it would play out publicly if that something was exposed.
