Chapter 5

I smirked, as I saw Rufus disappear into the hole.

"Looks like you, Demons are too late."

They both stood up and glared at me.

"Levy, leave him to me," The Ice Demon told the other Demon.

"Are you sure?" She asked.

"Yes! Hurry and go save Evergreen!" He yelled.

I smirked again.

"Are you so sure about that?"

"FIRE!"

They both whipped around, to see three arrows launch at the Stone-Eye Demon.

"EVERGREEN!"

Suddenly all three arrows split into two pieces. My eyes winded.

"W-What was that ?!"

I ran to the edge of the building, and stood next to the other Demons. It made me uncomfortable, but I had to do it.

A man with green hair, and green eyes held a silver rapier. He also had black wings.....Like a Demon.

"Another Demon?" I muttered to myself.

"No....."

I jumped slightly as I looked at the two Demons.

"He's not just a Demon."

"He's an Angel also."

My eyes winded. Suddenly there was a flash of lightning.

"Lightning?!" I yelled.

A man with blonde hair, and a lightning shaped scar covered his left eye.

"Who the heck is that?!" The Book Demon yelled.

"Laxus, do you want me to finish off these Humans," The green hair man asked.

"No. Just keep them busy."

Laxus turned around and started untying the Stone-Eyed Demon. I didn't hesitate. I jumped down on the roof, and landed safely on the ground.

"Hey you!"

They both stopped and looked at me.

"You not allowed to take that Demon."

"Really now?"

"Freed, I'm done. Let's get out of here."

"Yes Laxus."

Laxus now held the Stone-Eyed Demon over his shoulder.

"Oh no you!" I yelled.

I started running over to them, when I ran into a wall. Wait a minute......

"What the heck is this?!"

A wall of purple letters, stopped me from coming any closer to the two men.

"It's a Rune. Since you're a Human you can't pass it," Freed answered, putting his rapier away.

I glared at him. Suddenly another burst of lightning appeared in front of them. When it was gone, they were gone too.

"Damn.....I let them get away," I muttered.

I looked up at the building, to see the other two Demons gone.

"Great.....How am I going to explain this to Erza?"
