What drew my attention away from him was when the shoe began to light up as if being overwhelmed internally by lightning. The shoe lit up in a growing electrical explosion, but it didn't hurt. As quickly as it grew it seems to go away, that is right before it pulled us into a wormhole of sorts. We were quickly transported to a seemingly different position, although the spinning didn't stop. The sky changed from the usual cloudy appearance of Ottery St. Catchpole to a brightly lit summers day.

Amos and Arthur cheered as we were transported before Arthur announced to us, "Let go kids!"

"What?" Hermione loudly gasped in shock, to which Arthur repeated himself.

I screamed, "Are you mental?" at Arthur, only making his smile grow. My grip tightened on the shoe due to the growing fear rising in my stomach. Hermione, Ron, and Harry let go first, their screams echoing as their disappeared from our sight.

"I'll catch ya love." Fred whispered to me, so with all the courage I could muster I let my fingers slip from the material. I swung back from the group, Fred, and George immediately after me.

We fell from the sky with great force, the grass getting closer at an alarming rate. I watched as my friends' bodies hit the ground and the though of my death being by splattering into the earth surface raced across my mind. However, before I could think further I can in contact with the grassy field. The wind was knocked out of me completely, my bottom instantly lighting up like a fiery eruption.

I looked at the sky defeated as I tried to control my breathing, the small image of Cedric, Arthur and Amos floating down softly in my peripheral. Before I knew it Cedric was leaning over my body looking down at me with a humored expression. "You alright?" He asked.

I groaned before sending him a thumbs up. "Just peachy, thank you." he offered out his hand which I graciously accepted, pulling me to my feet. Without hesitation I walked over to Fred as he laid on the ground. I smiled at his before digging my foot into his side.

Instead of wincing he let out a belly laugh. "Some hero, you are." I declared to which he put his hands up in surrender. I reached out and took his hand, pulling him to his feet like Cedric had done for me.

We all continued up the hill as a group, but before fulling getting up, I noticed a man on a broomstick whip over our heads. I turned to George who shared my ecstatic expression. "There's no way." I muttered to her. And like I had assumed, as soon as we reached the top of the hill, we overlooked a valley full of tents. People were walking everyone dressed in either green and white or red and black colours. I squealed excitedly as Arthur announced, "Well kids, welcome to the Quidditch World Cup!" We all took a moment to take in the scene before us, bright smiles immitted on all our features.

Arthur had us walk through the crowds of people to reach our destination, thousands of peoples entertaining one another on each side of us. People soared above us as well, all sharing a common love for the sport we were here to watch. "Parting ways, I think old chap." Mr. Diggory announced to Arthur in front of us. As they said their goodbyes Cedric made his rounds with the twins. He turned to me and reached his hand out, capturing mine in his before placing a rushed but delicate kiss on the top of it.

"Bye, Potter." he whispered, lips still grazing the skin of my hand.

"Catch ya later, Diggory." I replied, making him smile coyly before his father whisked him away.

I smiled at him as he disappeared in the crowd, unaware of the boy's presence beside me. It wasn't until Fred jumped in front of me that my gaze left where the boy once was. Taking me by surprise Fred dropped to his knee quickly, taking my hand in his own. He dramatically left sloppy kisses on the skin, mocking my previous interaction.

"Bye, Cedric, until we meet again my love." George teased in my ear as he stood behind me, wrapping his arms around my shoulders in a loose hug.

I tried pushing them off as Ginny approached the three of us. "Oh, leave her alone you lunatics!" She yelled, hitting both the twins on their strawberry heads. "You're just jealous that Cedric likes Gemma more than he likes you lot." She announced before smiling at me. I knew she'd always have my back. The twins left me alone, allowing me to walk with the youngest of the group. I thanked her quietly as we all followed Arthur through the crowd to a small tent.

The twins filed into the tent before Ginny and I, revealing a massive interior which was definitely not shown from the outside. Warm toned drapes covered all the walls and ceiling of the place, very much reminding me of the collectables the Weasley's had brought back with them from their trip to Egypt the summer prior. I walked through the living area to the bunks, which were made from some type of dark hardwood. Engraved on the sides of the frame was a scenic picture of people flying on broomsticks. As I took a closer look, I could see that it was moving, as if the players were embedded within the grain.

"Ginny look!" I excitedly squealed, feeling her come up beside me. She agreed as we watched the two girls in the scene race for the snitch.

Arthur scowled Ron for already scrummaging through the kitchen cupboards and the twins relaxed in the dining area. I continued to look around in awe as Ginny and Hermione started unpacking their things, spotting Harry doing the same at the entrance of the tent.

I walked over to join him, swinging my arm around his shoulders. He turned to me excitedly beforeannouncing "I love magic."
