List of Unique Skills and Their Known Details (Part 1)

The first part covers (practically) all unique skills mentioned from the 1st volume to the 5th volume. All unique skills here are sorted based on their first mentions in the LN.

It should be noted that this list has been made so that the skills' status catches up with the newest volume of LN, i.e. the 19th volume. So, brace yourself for potential SPOILERS.

Some of the skills' (sub-)abilities might not get mentioned due to them never being explicitly mentioned throughout the story.

## TERMS GUIDE ##

◆ First mention  tells in what chapter of what volume a unique skill's name is mentioned for the first time.
◆ Kanji  tells how the skill is written in kanji in the original Japanese version.
◆ Furigana  tells how the skill's name should be pronounced in Japanese according to the furigana (ruby text) written above the kanji. It should be noted that not all skills have furigana.
◆ Other names  tell the alternative names of the skill, often based on the kanji's literal translation or furigana's literal translation. Sometimes, it's just a matter of synonyms.
◆ Owner  tells the owner(s) of the skill, including the former owners. The former owners will have the cause of skill loss written next to the former status)
◆ Abilities  tell what abilities does a skill have, often in form of subskills. It should be noted that not all abilities have formally-signed names. Some examples of formally name-signed abilities are: [Thought Acceleration], [Analysis and Appraisal], and [Chant Annulment].
◆ Effects and Other effects  tell what effects does a skill have. This is often used here as a substitute for Abilities if some of the skill's prominent abilities don't have formally-signed names.
◆ If a skill is known to be the evolution of other skill(s), Evolved from tells the precursor skills of the said skill. If the skill is the result of combination between two or more skills, the one used as the main base of integration will be marked as main base.
◆ If a skill is lost due to integration of the owner's skills, the one used as the main base will be marked as evolved while the rest will be simply marked as integrated.

~Unique Skill [Predator]~

First mention : Volume 01, Prologue
Kanji                   : 捕食者 
Furigana           : クラウモノ
Other Names : Devourer, One who Devours (from furigana)
Owner               : Rimuru Tempest (formerly, evolved into Unique Skill [Gluttony])
Abilities            :
➢ Predation (捕食) — Takes the target into the user's body. But in case the target has consciousness, the chance of success decreases significantly. The target of effect is, not limited to organic and inorganic object, but also extends to skill and magic.
➢ Analysis (解析) — Analyses and researches the object taken. Creates the creatable items. In case all substances are available, it is possible to create the copies. If a technique is successfully analysed, it is possible to master the target's skills or magic.
➢ Stomach (胃袋) — Stores the predated target. It is also possible to store materials created via Analysis. Items stored in Stomach are not affected by time.
➢ Mimicry (擬態) — Replicates the captured target's appearance. Its abilities are also possible to use. However, it is only limited to the target whose information is successfully analysed.
➢ Isolation (隔離) — Stores harmful effects that cannot be analysed, neutralizing them, then breaking them down into magical power.
