Athena Swan sat perched up on the hood of her step-dad, Phil's car. Athena was an extroverted Tan, brunette girl with sparkling brown eyes that shimmered in the Arizona sun. Her sister Bella, who was the complete opposite of Athena stood up on the porch next to the garage with their mother. Bella was as introverted as they get, She was pale, slightly taller then Athena which had always slightly annoyed Athena as they were growing up. Athena sat still in her place, a open sketchbook lay upon her lap. She tilted her face up to the sky squeezing her eyes shut as she moved her head to the side, soaking up what little sun she could before leaving for fog-ville. Her and Bella were about to leave for Forks, Washington to be with their Dad, Charlie, as their Mom, Renee, traveled with Phil. Phil was a minor-league baseball player. Athena admired Phil, he made her mother happy and tried to be supportive of her and Bella, which of course Athena appreciated. Phil spoke up suddenly, drawing Athena's attention away from her thoughts as she opened her eyes and closed her sketchbook.

"You guys, come on, I love you both. We got a plane to catch!" Phil spoke clapping his hands together after throwing the last bag into the trunk.

Athena hopped off of the hood and gripped her backpack throwing it over her shoulder as she walked over to Phil who was opening the side door for her.

"Thanks Phil" She nodded as she threw her backpack into the seats and climbed in as Phil shut the door behind her, he nodded as he did so acknowledging her thanks.

She was shortly joined by Bella in the car, who sat next to her. Athena reached into her bag and pulled out a tangled pair of headphones. She unraveled it as the others got into the car.

"Are you girls excited?" Phil asked.

Bella rolled her eyes but nodded. Athena noticed and shuffled slightly uncomfortably.

"Why wasn't Bella excited? We get to see Dad.. We haven't in such a long time" Athena thought to herself.

She was hoping this could be a fresh start, She loved Forks. It was her home... She never really got used to Arizona. She dreamed of Forks, of her Dad. She loved Phil but he could never truly replace Charlie. Charlie and Renee had gotten divorced when Athena was pretty young. The night they left haunted her. She didn't want to leave her Dad. She was always closer with him unlike Bella who was a total Mommy's girl. She looked from Bella to Phil who was still waiting on a answer.

"Yeah, I can't wait to draw the forests" Athena answered as she got her headphones finally untangled.

"You'll have to send pictures" Phil spoke as they started to pull out of the driveway.

Athena nodded a polite smile on her face, which Phil had seen through the mirror. Her mother smiled at this interaction between the two. Athena placed the ear-buds into her ears as the song full moon by the black ghosts began to play. She stared out her window resting her head on it. Watching the familiar houses fade past.

"I can't wait to get out of here..." She though to herself as they traveled down the dusty Arizona roads.

They shortly got to the airport and said their goodbyes, Once they landed in Washington Athena was very excited as they trailed through the airport.

"Aren't you nervous??" Bella asked anxiously as she looked around keeping a eye out for Charlie.

"Why would I be?" Athena said almost gliding as they walked quickly throughout the airport.

"It blows my mind that we are related" Bella scoffed.

They came to a stop looking around, nearing the entrance. Athena's eyes drifted from each man in the room, searching for her father. A man with a blue T and a pot belly walked passed as her eyes darted to another person. A man in a flannel and a grey shirt stood awkwardly with a paper sign that had "Isabella + Athena Swan" written across it. Bella stopped slightly as she noticed her father and sighed as Charlie had caught a glance of them.
