Chapter four

I could tell that it was a man because of his deep breathing. The covers got yanked off me and Janet. The man yelled and we both screamed. The man yelled deeply which made me weep harder.
Janet was kicking and punching the air as I laid silently, too scared to make a movement.
Margaret popped up and took her headphones off.
"Janet! Julia! Whats wrong? What is it?" Margaret said.
I sat up as I cried.
"There's someone in the room!" Janet cried
"There's no one! What you talking about?" Margaret yelled
"Yes there is I sw-" I started but then got cut off by are beds starting to pound up and down.
"AAH!" We all screamed as our beds shook.
"Oh my god!" I sobbed
We jumped off our beds and ran to our mums room. On cue, she opened the door.
"There's someone in our room!" I yelled
"What!" She yelled back
"Our beds are shaking up and down!" Margaret cried
"Girls, I swear to god if you're making it up-"
"I got bit. I'm not lying! He bit me! Look!" Janet whined as she pulled down the fabric covering her shoulder.
Our mum stood in complete exhaustion and shock.
"Oh, my god." She muttered under her breath.
She pushed us aside and sped walked towards our bed room.
She flipped on the light and saw nothing. Nothing was happening in our room. I tilted my head in confusion as tears slid off my chin and onto the floor. Sometimes onto my nightgown.
I heard some rummaging around in the room.
We walked into the room and saw her holding a board. The board.
"Have you three been playing with this?" Our mum hissed at us.
"Taking turns scaring the wits out of each other?" She snapped as she ripped the board into pieces.
"No wonder I can't get a good nights sleep!"
"But, mum-" Janet started but got cut off by our fuming mum.
"No! I don't wanna hear another word, now get back to bed, the lot of you!" She demanded us. I nodded. I haven't seen her this angry before. I turned back to see Johnny and billy. Before I could say anything to the two of them the drawer got rushed into the door, causing it to slam shut.
We all screamed and ran out to our mum, holding her close to us.
She stood in disbelief at what just happened.
I stood against Margaret, making me the one on the outside. Meanwhile the boys were on the other side of the door. I cant imagine how horrified they are right now.

We all ran out of the door and to our neighbors house.
"Help!" I yelled
"Help us!" Johnny yelled
"Please help!" Margaret cried
"Peggy! Vic!, open the door!" Our mum cried as we all slammed our hands on the door.

"I've seen it with my own eyes. The bloody thing went clear across the room." Our mum said as she held a smoking cigarette between her fingers.
"Well then.." Vic said as he entered the house.
"What? Well?" Peggy asked
"It's cold. Well I've been through the house, top to bottom. There's no one there." Vic said as his dog got up from the couch.
"What about Margaret and Janet's room? Did you-" Peggy started
"No, no. I looked there, every room. Even went down the basement. There's no one there." Vic said
"What's he doing?" Billy smiled as the dog pushed his paw on the bell.
"Oh, we've taught him to ring the bell when wants to go. Do you want to let him out, billy?" Peggy smiled.
Billy smiled happily as he opened the door to let him out.
I rubbed my eyes as the police lights came into view.
"L-l-look! The police are at our house!" Billy smiled.
"Now, what are they doing here?" Peggy asked as she walked up to the door.
"Oh, I called them." Vic said.
"What?" Our mum questioned his actions.
"Well, I mean, it's got to be somebody playing a joke on you, right?" Vic answered.
"It's got to be, yeah." Peggy said

A/N:
Okay this is a bit on the shorter side because I really wanna watch Jessie right now, I have school tomorrow and it's 10 o'clock so this is the last chapter for tonight.
