"Are you sure that's the right spell?" The taller one questioned, "Because I'm sure it isn't working." He stated.
"Trust me, I'm a Ravenclaw." Thomas, the brunette said confidently.

The shorter one added more rosemary to the potion and said a few Latin words he read from the spell book. Nothing happened. So he tried again and again and again.

Nothing.

"Maybe try this one-" Thomas cut the yellow boy off, "No! That won't work. Please just trust me!" "I'm trying to!"

"Mr. Edison and Mr Issacs. Is there a problem." The professor butted in there little argument. "No sir." They said in union.
Thomas tried figuring out what was wrong but Newt just snatched the book off of him. "See that is the wrong spell." He pointed at the sentences.

Thomas huffed and took the book, shutting it closed with a thump. "Fine if you are so clever, why don't you do this yourself!" He muttered quite loudly. He raised his hand asking for permission to head to the bathroom.

Newt watched him leave, the raven claw really needs to learn how to 'not be right'.
But then again, Thomas hated being wrong. In exams and small topic tests, he managed to get above 90% which was amazing, and newt was really proud of him.

Later that night, Thomas was looking through the restricted section of the library, so many old books written by ancient wizards were stacked on shelves full of dust. Only a few finger prints from other witches and wizards who wanted nothing more than to cure they're curiosity.

He found a book on magical vegetation, he placed it on the side, to save for later. He found one on crystals and went to put it down where the other book was placed but found it to be empty.

"What the-" he mumbled to himself before he was turned around and engulfed into a cloak. An Invisibility cloak.

He was caught by a pair of soft lips on his, he knew it was the Hufflepuff.
"Good way to greet someone huh?" He asked
"Always, Tommy." The blonde giggled

Newt unwrapped the cloak from above them and placed it to the side desk next to him.
"What are you doing here anyway?"

"Looking."

"For?"

"Books."

"On magic vegetation? Like healing factors and potions?" Newt cocked an eyebrow.

"Yeah," Thomas pursed his lips.
"I'm not that stupid Tommy, are you trying to find a way to fix what happened this morning? At potions?"

"Look, it's not good to be wrong-"

"But it's not always good to be right, darling" Thomas swore his knees buckled at the sudden nickname. Newt wrapped his arms around the Ravenclaws waist and pulled him to his chest.
"Just don't be mad about it anymore, you've ignored me for most of the day."

"Sorry," The brunette mumbled.

A few moments of silence was shared between them, Newt dug his head into the brown soft locks of the other. Thomas could here the Blondes heartbeat, it was so peaceful.

"So, why the sudden nickname?" Thomas asked disrupting the silence.
"Oh I thought it suited you." Newt said with a smirk "what you don't like it?"

"No, no no. I do."
"Good, because I'm gonna keep calling you that now." Thomas chuckled.

When they knew it was to late they walked back hand-in-hand, and the brunette got his books, and Newt had his cloak with him.

They kissed there goodbyes and went off to their signed common rooms.

Thomas learned that night that's it's okay to be wrong, and not always right.
