I woke up and checked my phone, no notifications

That's a little strange, since my mother, who was out in a different country for business, always messages me good morning

Oh well, perhaps she's busy or something

I go down stairs and look around, however my father isn't there, is he still in bed?

I go up to his room and knock on his door, after a few seconds he tells me to come in, I go in and close the door behind me

"Yoimiya, I need to talk to you.. "

"Is everything okay??"

He looked like he'd been crying, and he was still very upset

"It's a little ...hard for me to tell you this... " his eyes started to water "a few hours ago, I got a call. "

"From the hospital.. "

No one we know is in hospital..

Ayakas pov:

I woke up to Ayato calling my name from outside my door

I sigh and get out of bed

"It will be you when I kick you over"

"Sure, sure whatever "

"I'll be waiting in the kitchen with thoma, get changed so we can eat and then do some sword training"

"Alright, I know"

I heard him leave and so I got changed, however I found my phone ringing just as I was about to leave my room

"Yoimiya? Why is she calling me? "

I go and pick up the phone

"Good morning, do you need someth-"

"-Ayaka... Are you..free today?.. "

"..a-are you crying!? "

"...No.."

"-alright, ah, uhm, Yoimiya im sorry I'm busy today"

"... It's whatever"

-beep beep- (hehehe)

I sigh and put my phone back on my bedside table, I hope yoimiyas okay..

I leave my room and Ayato and thoma are just chatting

"Good morning you both"

"Good morning Ayaka"
"Good morning~! " ayato waves at me

I smile to them and they smile back, then thoma sets me out some food
