"stop hogging y/n kaashi!" Bokuto said as he pulled me to him

"she's my best friend" kuroo said as he pulled me into his arms as well

"guys let go!" I shout a bit annoyed at their clinginess

"sorry" they all apologized simultaneously "idiots" kenma said as he stifled a laugh

"sorry about them kiyoko" I apologized to the head manager

"that's okay and I was thinking you could help nekoma out since they don't have a manager" she said as to which my eyes widened

"if it's not too much trouble" she said. I shook my head "it's no problem at all"

"yay we get to spend more time together!" kuroo cheered

i shot him a glare telling him to pipe down which he did

"aw too bad you couldn't be our manager" Bokuto frowned

"we already have a manger bokuto" Akaashi said

"yeah but it's not y/n" he said with a sad face "let's go warm up" Akaashi said as he patted his back gently

he turned his head and waved goodbye as he walked away and I gladly returned the gesture

subconsciously my eyes searched for a certain blonde, in hopes for his to meet mine.

but they didn't because they were focused on someone else's

he was laughing along side some pretty girl with dirty blonde hair with a ponytail, she wore it to the side.

it looks like she was manager for the other team I didn't know

she had a blue and white track suit

she had light brown eyes and wore a faint blush while talking to tsukishima.

i don't know but I felt a small pang in my heart when I saw them together

"you jealous?" kuroo joked as he wrapped an arm around you

he studied your face then realized you really were jealous "I don't care" I said as I walked away with a stone cold face leaving him behind me

I greeted the nekoma team "I'm going to help you guys out today" i said in a monotone voice

I felt a hand be placed on my shoulder and I quickly slapped it away

"ah" I heard a whine and that was when I realized what I did

"oh I'm so sorry lev" I said as I grabbed his hand and rubbed it to soothe the pain

"are you okay? you seem a little out of it" he asked a bit concerned

I slowly nod my head and fake a smile "I'm okay"

"you're hair looks pretty like that" he said which reminded me of tsukishima said the same thing

i felt another pang at my chest and I turned to look back at him and he was laughing as the girl rubbed her neck nervously

"that's why you're in a bummy mood?" lev asked which brought my attention back to him

"no what? that's stupid. why would I care?" I scoffed as I grabbed their water bottle bag

"im going to refill these" I said to the team as I walked out the gym, passing tsukishima along the way.

i sighed once I was finally outside the gym. I felt like I couldn't breathe.
