I walk over to the truck, pick Ojo up and got in.

"Do you like her?" my mom ask

"Yes! She is the cutest puppy ever." I say

"We should go home, dad's gotta go out for a bit and I have to get you to help me at home."

"Alright."

When we get inside I put Ojo in her crate in the living room but when I get there there were a ton of boxes on the floor.

I walk over to my mom and ask her a question;

"Why are all these boxes in the living room."

"Oh your cousin is staying with us for a bit and we finally decided to do up the room and paint, which is what you and I are planning on doing." She told me

"Oh alright." I say as I put up my hair and grab a paint roller

I opened the paint lid and it was a light blue colour which I thought was really pretty.

It took us about an hour and a half to paint the entire room with two coats, pretty good I thought. After it was dry my dad had arrived back with a ton more stuff, so we started putting everything together and decorated the room so it was nice.

"Thanks for the help, why don't you go to Starbucks and buy yourself a treat." my mom said handing me money

"Uhh sure, I'll be back in a bit." I said, wondering why she told me to go.

I put on my shoes and headed out and texted danny

*Hey wanna go to Starbucks with me?*

*Sure, meet you halfway.*

I walk halfway between our houses where I met Danny and headed to Starbucks

"I got a new puppy, she's the cutest things ever." I said than showed him a picture.

"She's cute but not as cute as you." he said than winked

I laughed "Thanks Danny" I say

We continued our walk to Starbucks, went in and ordered our usual and headed back. It took us and just over an hour both ways

"Wanna come over?" I ask Danny as we approached the halfway mark

"Sure." he said smiling

We walked up the driveway and none of our vehicles were home, my parents must gone out. I opened the door and it was silent, Ojo must be sleeping.
