K(shouting happily) - Monami , kahan ho tum !?

Karan just returned back from the academy.

M- Aayi Karan , bas do minute.

K - Jaldi aao , i have something to tell you .

M - Aa rhi ho baba , patience.

Karan till then drank water and sat on the couch. Monami came running ,

M- Kya hua Karan ? Tum aise chilla kyu rhe the ?

K- Ithar Aao , betho yaha.

(Tapping the place besides him.)

Monami came and made herself comfortable.

M- Acha , ab batao ? Kya baat hai , aaj bahut khush lag rhe ho tum ?

K- khush toh honga hi na , mera childhood friend aa rha hai , mujhse milne .

M- Oh ho , toh yeh hai tumhari khushi ka raaz .

K(smiling) - hmm.

M- Hai kaun voh vaise ?

K(excited) - Arré , anirudh aa rha hai . Maine btaya tha na tumhe uske baare me .
He was with me since school , infact humne training bhi saath me li thi , phir uski posting Jammu ke paas ho gyi , toh voh vaha chala gya.
Ab almost 7 saalo baad vapis aa rha hai.

M(chuckling) - Wah Mr khadoos shergill. Itni excitement , ab toh mujhe bhi milna padega tumhare uss friend se.

They both laughed and then talked about random things .
Later , they dozed off to sleep and having their dinner.

In the morning :

Karan went to pick his friend , Anirudh from the airport.
While , Monami was busy instructing the househelp.

K - Monami , Monami !?

M(coming out of the kitchen) - Coming !

She came and stood besides Karan , greeting Anirudh.
Anirudh looked at her , for once he was mesmerized by her beauty.

A(in mind ) - Wow , beautiful !

K(smiling) - Monami , meet my friend Anirudh , an army officer , serving for the country since 7 years.

(Looking towards Monami , and wrapping his arm around her) - And , Anirudh meet my wife , the love of my life , Dr. Monami Karan Shergill.

A(offering his hand) - Hi Dr Monami !

M- Hi Mr Anirudh . Nice meeting you.
(Shaking their hands )

A - Pleasures all mine.
(Anirudh rubs his hand on hers and smiles )

Monami feels uncomfortable  , and then pulls back her hand. This wasn't noticed by Karan.

At the dining table :
Monami is serving food to both of them.

K - Ani , my wife is the best cook in this world . I am sure you'll love the food.

Anirudh took the first bite , and then looked at Monami.

A(in mind) - khane se zyada toh khana bnane wali pasand aayi mujhe.

K - Kaisa lga khana ?

A- Bahut acha. I wish I could kiss the hands of the chef. Such a delicacy it is.

Karan and Monami looked at him shocked .

A(laughing) - Arré , tum log toh serious ho gye , main toh mazaak kar rha tha.

Karan too laughed , but Monami again felt uncomfortable.

After finishing their breakfast ,

K- Ani , tum freshen ho jao.
