"Hurry, you. We're already running late."

Louis just scoffs, not even merely responding to Harry.

Harry.

Harry who he is in love with.

Although not so much right now, right now all he is, is mad. Louis was hoping that he'd be able to ride on Harry's bike with him again considering his own got punctured. But Harry, being the golden boy he was, woke up at six in the bloody morning to get it fixed.

Now don't get him wrong, Louis loves riding his bike but as much as he doesn't like to admit, something about doing so with his boyfriend was better, back flushed against Harry's chest, feet dangling of the corners because his boy also just happened to be a fucking giant; something about that just felt slightly better.

He finally got up from his dear couch when a whine was heard for the fourth time in the last 23 seconds.

"Quit your whining my boy, as much as I too want the new Mazzy Star vinyl, you do realise that the store won't even be open for another 10 minutes, right?"

"Of course I do, you nut, now get up let's leave now. We have be the first one's there"

Another snort made its way out of Louis' mouth, "Funny of you to assume anyone would be as crazy as you, kid. The store is going to be dead empty—

It's most assuredly safe to say that Louis was wrong.

Punks, hippies and even some of the geeks from his highschool pervaded the small store.

Louis had always loved the place, even though anyone in their right mind would want to run away after seeing the humongous ribauldequin hanging onto the walls as a piece of "decoration".

Who needs a weapon hanging onto a record store's wall?!  Good god, this town was crazy.

But there he was, still in the crazy town. He pushed through the group of people in his way to get his hands on the vinyl while his boy waited for him outside because he was scared of crowds, the vinyl that also appeared to be the last one there so you can't possibly blame him when he came of the shop cursing the shit out of everyone because god if he hadn't gotten it harry would have 100% broken up with him right then and there (or not— the boy was quite gone for him)

But none of that happened, because Louis got the vinyl and now Harry is smiling like he hung the stars up in the sky.

"My boy! You got it!"

Louis just rolled his eyes, pretending to not be flattered.

"Where to now?"

"Let's see. How about the moon?"

"And back?"

Just the moon would be fine too, i'm okay with not coming back if that means forevermore with you

"And back."

"As you wish, starboy" Louis was now tired of pretending to be cross, his eyes crinkled as he admired the petname.

"Okay but really, where do you want to go now?" Harry has asked again, to which Louis suggested the hill above a lake nearby and Harry happily agreed, being the romantic that he was.

They reached the destination a bit later than what they had anticipated, stopping on the way to get Harry's favourite pink wine and the record player from their apartment.

Now though, they were seated at the edge of a cliff.

"You reckon we'll be safe here?" Louis had asked. Harry counter questioned him, "You're with me yeah?"

"Of course"

"Then I don't think so, we're in love and no one's ever safe in love. Love feels like those two seconds when you fly after jumping off a roof, you crash, yes, but you also fly. I'm flying in love with you Louis"

For a second, Louis was too stunned to even move. It was nothing he hadn't seen before, just his harry, under the moonlight, beautiful as always.

He had always struggled with that, Harry's ethereal beauty. But he guesses it's fair in the moonlight, the sun, his sun, and the moon coming together really is a sight.

Snapping out of his days he started the record, both of them silent for the first listen, and to no surprise, it was an amazing track.

"Shit" Harry giggled right after.

Louis looked at him and noticed that the wine bottle was already half empty, "You think we should sit back now, love? No offence but you're getting slightly tipsy"

"Mmkay'' Harry said, getting up and seating himself a good 25 feet away from the cliff. Louis took the record player and joined him.

"Dance with me, lou?"

"Harry" Louis laughed

"Please, silly. Just dance with me. I'll sing if you want, already have the lines memorised"

But your eyes are enough of a melody to me.

"Okay. Yeah okay"

Louis stood up, pulling Harry to his feet with him.

He smiled as Harry put his hands on louis’ shoulders, his own hands settling on Harry's waist.

They swayed silently for a while, Louis avoiding any contact because he was positive that one look at Harry and his heart would explode. Which, he was right about. He looked up when Harry's angelic voice filled his ears.

I wanna hold the hand inside you

I wanna take the breath that's true

I look to you and i see nothing

I look to you and i see the truth

He pulls him closer, pecking his lips quickly, he doesn't want him to stop singing.

You live your life, you go in shadows

You'll come apart and you'll go blind

Some kind of night into your darkness

Colours your eyes with what's not there

He turns his head away again and thinks how did he manage to be so lucky to have someone as kind (helps elders cross the street) loving (never makes someone feel less of themselves) compassionate (puts his whole heart into everything) and stupidly addorable (cries if he cant carve a perfect pumpkin) as harry.

Fade into you

I think it's strange you never knew …
