Reunited

Axl's Birthday

I laughed. "All the more reason for you to get in the car.
I ruffled his hair.

Axl and me both hopped in and that's when we all started singing 'Happy Birthday' to Axl who just looked annoyed but happy at the same time.

Izzy had a smirk on his face.
Slash and duff were laughing.
Steven was playing with Duff's hair and I was talking with Axl.

Today would be a good day.

When we arrived, all the guys got into their shorts and Axl did the same with a goofy grin on his face.

I took off my t-shirt and leggings.
The sun felt good mixed with the breeze.
I set the food on a table.
My phone next to my stuff.
As soon as I turned around, Axl was behind me.

"This is nice, thank you."

"Ax, don't say thanks, I happy I get to be here for your birthday again."

He smiled and hugged me.
Bad idea.
As soon as I hugged him back he picked me up and I already knew what he was doing.

"Axl William Rose. Don't you fucking dare."

"Too late for that."
He tossed me in the pool and I could hear him laughing.

"Yeah sure, haha."
I stood up and saw Slash and Duff behind Axl.
Steven swam over to me.
"You might want to move out of the way." He had a huge smile on his face.

I grinned and listened to him.
While Axl was still holding his stomach from laughing, Slash and Duff both pushed him forward and he fell into the pool as well.

This time Slash, Duff, Steven and Me were all laughing at Axl.

Izzy just had a smile on his face.
"You were asking for that."

Axl just moved his hair out of his face with a annoyed smile.

Slash and Duff both jumped in, splashing all of us.
Izzy sat on the edge just dipping his feet in the water.

We all laughed and swam all day. Occasionally getting out to eat what I brought.

I pushed Axl in once.
Steven jumped on Duff's back and brought both of them down.
Izzy, Axl and Slash had a huge water fight which led to all of us against Axl.

Finally as it was getting dark, we dried off and got back into the car.

We were all laughing about earlier.
Steven was giggling in the back like a child with Duff.

We headed back to Axl's for dinner which I made.

Lasagna with mashed potatoes and gravy.

They all had beers and I stuck with a Coke.

We all were talking about stupid memories with Axl.

"Slash shut up about that."
"Sorry Axl but it's tradition."

"OK Slash continue."I wanted to hear about the hotel.

"So we opened out doors to Axl just jumping around like a ballerina down the hallway."

We all burst out laughing at the video Slash had and Axl just groaned and tried to get the phone back.

"I remember we were on stage and he was being an idiot from behind me. I think he gets to hyper." Duff was scrolling through his phone too.

Axl just covered his face as all of us were laughing harder.

"Slash remember when you asked me if Axl was okay because he was laying on the airport baggage line." Izzy said

"OH haha yeah."

At this point Axl was laughing with us over all these memories.

"Steven do you have one?" I asked

"Yeah, that same day Axl was one the conveyer belt and went right through."

We all started laughing harder over the video Steven showed and Slash fell off the stool he was sitting on.

"Ok we get it, I'm stupid at times."

"Well Axl of your are just finding this out now, then congratulations. "

Axl threw his napkin at Izzy and we kept laughing.

I'm surprised no tears were streaming down our faces by now.

Eventually all the guys had to leave and we all said goodnight.

Axl and me cleaned up.
"Did you get a good birthday?"
I asked, finishing putting the dishes away.

"Yes I did. Thank you very much."

"No problem."
I smiled. I wanted to give him a kiss. I've been thinking about about for awhile now.

I wonder how he would react.

"Today was so much better than gifts."

"Well that's good, Ax." I sat next to him.

He gave me a hug. "I am so glad I found you again."

I hugged him back.
"Hey Axl?"

He pulled away a bit to look at me.
His arms still around my waist.

"I did have one small gift for you."
"Oh really, what's that?"

I took a deep breathe.
".....This."

I leaned forward and gently kissed him.
