𝗼𝗺𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁
It was now a couple weeks later; Kart and Jhene got an A on their project, they grew a good bond these past weeks
Jhene was currently at the library picking out a book while on the phone with kart, she picked up a book that looked good and read it seeing it said 'Passion' she nodded flipping through the pages a bit feeling satisfied
She went to the front desk, seeing a black woman who seems to be in her 50's, she set the book down on the front desk seeing dust fly making her cough a bit. Jhene squinted her eyes at the name tag on the lady's shirt seeing it said Amory
Amory looked up grabbing her glasses on the left side of her putting them on, Jhene pulled out her library card and the lady smirked on the low. "You don't need the Library card for this book sweetie" Amory said smiling show her 18 teeth and Jhene nodded sliding her card back in her pocket
She heard kart moving around on her phone then quickly looked down at it she heard the noise when somebody hang up and she shook her head, the lady looked at jhene in some type of way that nobody could understand, jhene put her phone in her pocket; putting her head back up
"You look real.. familiar" Amory talked slowly, taking a pause. She looked down at the book and raised her eyebrow sensing something, Amory nodded her head chuckling lowly so Jhene wouldn't hear it
Jhene looked around feeling a cold breeze making her shiver, she noticed the library was very dusty and old. She heard something move and looked seeing the lady wasn't there anymore, she picked up the book and quickly walked out the library
Jhene didn't know she picked up a certain book, she was goin find out sooner or later
She felt the sun beam on her face and she saw people on motorcycles, bikes, etc driving around what she noticed Kart standing by a dirt bike with a backwood in his mouth, she walked up to him and he felt a presence in front of him
"Why you hang up on me?" She asked, scrunching her face up from the sun beaming on her smooth brown skin
Kart chuckled looking down at her, Jhene was 5'7 but he was 6'2, "My bad, I just figured since i was literally by the library there was no need to be on the phone anymore" He stated and she nodded feeling as if he's right
"I never knew you smoked AND in The Midnight Clique" She acknowledged; observing the area looking at all the different dirt bikes
