"You're not taking him, Lucius!"

"Luke is my son too, he'll be better with me. I can take care of him better!!"

A pair was arguing in a certain room in which their voices echoed throughout the entire thing. Bruce Wayne, who was sitting in the middle trying to calm things down, was completely flabbergasted over what's happening.

The CEO of the Company himself was trying to keep the two from escalating with the confrontation, and also because these two are very important people to the company

"Can we just talk about this in a more civil way?" he suggested to the pair in a subtle way

"NO!!" They both answered in unison

Bruce sighed, not having any idea on what to do with the two. He's a person of many things, and handling a divorce isn't one of them. Internally, he hoped they would just find a marriage counselor or an Attorney to settle this with

He looks at his wristwatch, and realizes it has gotten late already. And so, he tried to have their attentions, but they were too busy snapping at each other. Knowing this whole thing was pointless and his presence clearly wasn't in that place, Bruce decided to just leave nonchalantly

As he finally left the room, Bruce finally had cool fresh air from that hostility back there. Internally, he hoped his marriage wouldn't be like that whatsoever

And speaking of marriage, as he made his way to the main hall, a certain beautiful slim brunette was talking to her daughter from the seats. When his presence was seen, the lady immediately came up to him and greeted him a smile

"How was work today, Beloved?" she greeted

"Hello Talia" Bruce responded. He leaned in as their lips met in a kiss "Work was tiring today as always..."

"Daddy!"

Bruce looked down, and it was her daughter herself calling up for him. Her name was Helena, currently just seven years old.

"Hello Helena" Bruce crouched down to give her daughter a hug "Did you just arrive?"

"Not really..." Helena responded "But Talia picked me up from karate class"

Bruce looked up to Talia, which she responded with a wink. He responded with a smile of his own

"Would you like to come over for dinner?" he suggested

"No, it's okay, I have an important appointment with Father after this" Talia responded as she took her bag from the table "And you know how much of a trouble he can be"

"Damn right..." he muttered, as he stood to his feet

Talia leaned in for an embrace, in which Bruce responded by holding her "I'll see you tomorrow, Beloved" she kissed him in the cheek before finally walking away leaving the two of them alone

Talia waved at Helena, in which the little girl responded with a rather lousy wave of her own

"See, Talia isn't that bad right?" Bruce asked Helena

"I guess..." Helena looked away in response

Bruce looked at his wristwatch "Well look at the time, we better go home now, Helena" He held Helena's hand as they walked out to the exit where the busy street was currently filled with vehicles
