Chapter Twenty five:

Third POV:

Tony thought that he it may have been a good idea go give the k- maybe not kid but give Peter more Co text instead of hitting him straight with the big L. Tony knows how much simple things can lead him into over drive. Yet he didnt.

Peter gripped Tony's shoulders slightly which went noticed.

"Really? your not just saying that because you feel bad or anything like that?"

Tony had a smirk on his face. He gently lifted Peter's chin and looked as his neck , then back at him.

" I wouldnt create this Art on anyone else even if I 'felt bad' which I don't. I love you Peter."

The blush that rose to Peter's cheeks was redder than a rose. The words he has waited for ' a bigizilon years' for have finally been said. all there was to do was make it official. that was step two.

"so , what does this mean now?"

"Well Mr.parker this would lead to me asking you to be my boyfriend , what do you think?"

Peter was beyond shocked. Not thinking about the intense make-out session they just had. Now , The Tony Stark was asking him to be his boyfriend , how could he say no?

"YES. I mean uh yeah sure that's cool"

The smile that matched both their faces was wide as ever. However it hadn't dawned on Tony as to what would happen with other people. For example how would the team take it?
the public? Peter might want to tell everyone he is dating The Tony Stark. As glorious as it sounds that couldn't happen. It may ruin everything that Tony has worked for and it could even dent the avengers reputation.

All these worries had starting flowing into Tony's head shorty after Peter had went back into his room to probably tell Ned everything. What was he going to do. That was something he needed to figure out. One person(maybe two) that could help in the tower , that is who he headed too. Normally Steve isn't the first person he would go to if he had a problem but right now he is the guy for the job.

When Tony eventually tracked him down, he was in the gym with bucky. No surprises there. He walked up to him and demanded they needed to talk. The supersoilders both gave each other a confused look but steve agreed.

Tony had told him he had no time to shower or even change his sweaty gym top. Steve was actually starting worry with how serious tony is acting , since normally is sarcasm is the only thing that shows.

"Steve , I've done something. it's a good something but at the same time I could have fucked up majorly."

Now Steve was officially concerned.

"What happned Tony?"

"It's the kid. Peter. He told me he loved me. that's fine. whatever. then we made out and I asked him to be my boyfriend."

Tony had his head in his hands , elbows on the kitchen counter. He didn't want to look at Steve, He didn't want to see his facial expression. Tony could just tell that the same bad thoughts that went threw his head are now going through Steve's.

"yeah yeah I know it was probably a bad idea to date someone that age , that gender even. it could ruin everything that we have all built and so on but Steve there's nothing I can do to change it. If I had to go back and change things I wouldn't. "

Tony was now looking at steve. Waiting. Just waiting for him to say something. anything.

"You love him. Of course there is nothing you can do Tony. If you get the chance to be with the person you love you take it. No matter who stands in your way or what other people will say. And yeah , not everyone will agree but, what can you do?."

Steve took a short pause.

"Tony. What I'm trying to say is that I'm glad you have him. You know the team will support all of your decisions even if some of them are terrible. But this? This isn't one of those terrible decisions. The public? it doesn't matter what they think. You have your friends , your family. To hell with what other people have to say."

Tony was speechless.

Utterly speechless.

After a long pause , he breathed out a "thank you" got up and hugged Steve as hard as he could. Just trying to show his gratitude through actions. His expertise.
