A/N: heyyyyyy!! How have you guys been. I've been super busy with school:(( but I'm back and hopefully be posting more regularly 🌝🌝

My heart was in my throat. What could he possibly have to talk to me about? He motioned to follow him up stairs. As we passed the living room Danny gave me a confused look, I shrugged my shoulders not knowing what to do.
" This way." Josh motioned to a door to the right of the hallway.
He opened the door and walked him, me following swiftly behind him. There were two beds, one on each side of the room. Various postered scattered the light gray walls and  a tapestry on the ceiling.
He motioned me over to what I assumed was his side of the room. I sat on the ottoman that was near the desk.
Handing me my cup of tea I asked nervously, " What do you want to talk about?"
" I know I haven't known you long..."
I was hoping he wasn't going to say what I think he is.
" But I can tell you were uncomfortable in the car, if you need anyone to talk to just know that we are just next door." I said with a comforting smile.
I let out a sigh of relief, Just before I left to come here I went through a pretty bad break up, well for me at least. My now ex-boyfriend, Johnny, met when I was studying at the library. He was in my linear algebra class, but I didn't really know him too well. He sat down next to me explaining how he didn't understand anything that was happening in the class. I offered to help him, and everything else went from there. We hung out every friday to study, that turned into every wednesday and friday, then to hanging out everyday. He was my best friend.
After about four months of hanging out he asked me to be his girlfriend. I of course said yes, I was too nervous to ever show my feelings so I was super relieved that he asked me first. We dated for a couple of months until one day when I went to surprise him outside his class, I overheard him talking to his friends. Tears started to fall when I heard him saying that it was all a bet and that he never liked me in the first place. He was looking for a hookup, and kept making these misogynistic jokes about me. Once I pulled myself together, I rounded the turn and threw a swing at his jaw. He jumped back unexpectedly with a shocked look on his face
" Hey, babe." he said in a friendly tone while rubbing his jaw.
" Don't Babe me you asshole, We are done." I sneered back at him with tears threatening to come from my eyes.
" If I see what you did to me with another I won't hold back punching you, got it?" I continued to yell at him.
He looked at his friends then back at me and started giggling. I knew in that moment that nothing mattered to him and I had to move on. I gathered my things and my feelings and left. That's one of the first times I've ever really physically expressed my emotions. I usually just bottle them up and wait for a moment in private to break down. I don't like being a burden.
I changed out of my clothes from tonight and went to the bathroom to do my night routine. Wash my face: check. Brush my teeth: check. Put my hair up: check. Take my meds: ummm no. I realized I kept them in my Dad's bag downstairs.
I made my way down the staircase trying to miss the creaks, but failed miserably. Walking past the living room, I noticed Sam still passed out on the floor. I carefully stepped over him to make it to my dad's room. Looking around the unfamiliar room, I spotted the green bag with my meds in it. Taking them out then taking them back to the kitchen. Again carefully stepping over Sam, as I tiptoed to the kitchen to get some water. Searching through the cabinets full of different glassware, I finally found an appropriate glass. It  had a picture of a dog on it and said "ruff day". As I was taking my meds I couldn't help but think of Sam. He cannot possibly be comfortable. I put the cup in the sink and made my way back to Sam, Squatting down to shake him slightly.
" Sam," I whispered.
No response
" Sammy," I said in a hushed tone.
I saw his lips curve into a little smirk. He'd been awake the whole time, Jerk.
" Hey Baby, come here often." He looked up and winked.
Rolling my eyes and helping him up " Let's get you to bed."
" Not even going to buy me dinner first," He said giggling.
"Oh, shut up." I said while teasingly slapping his arm.
We made our way up the stairs and I helped him into his room. It was a little more wild than the twins. There were clothes and vinyls scattered everywhere, very obvious younger child.
I pulled him to his bed and laid him down, taking off his shoes. I pulled the covers over him and plugged his phone into the charger next to his nightstand.
" Goodnight, Sammy" I whispered to him before I left
He mumbled something I couldn't make out. I made my way out the door, turning off the lights while doing so.
Finally making it back to my bed, I released a sigh of content. I just knew being here is a change, But I'm feeling good about it. However, I can't keep away the funny feeling in my stomach.
