A raging thunderstorm. A dimly-lit mansion with a cold, windy atmosphere. A knock on the door. A sudden bang. Gunshots could be heard. Knives were everywhere. Terror. Chaos. My mother cries out. My father goes down. More gunshots are heard. A body drops dead. I check it out. All I see is despair. My mother in my father's arms. His body, red. Tears in his eyes. My face filled with dread. I scan the room. Blood forming a pool. A dark figure emerges. I scream while a firm hand grabs me. My father says goodbye as he enters the kitchen. The mysterious person trying to leave with me. Outside the house, finally. More red can be seen. Fire. My father fights the intruders, wanting to get them away from me. He sends me a salute from the window, through a forced smile. I watch as he gets stabbed with a bloody knife. I see him struggling to reach for something. He presses the emergency self-destruct button. Everything explodes in a flash. Both my parents are dead. My world goes blank.
