Chapter 9🌸

A tear slipped from Aadhya's eyes hearing his words , sahil wiped it off.

Sahil: Did you understand what I said ?

Aadhya: I did, thank you and I promise I will never breakdown like that again...

Sahil smiled and kissed her head.. 

Sahil: Good girl, now come let's go inside.

He held Aadhya's hand and they both went inside.

Ridhi was sitting at her home's balcony,  when she heard the door bell.
She opened then door as saw Kartik, who was standing there....
his hair was messed up and he had dark circles under his eyes..... He was a total mess.
Ridhi was broken to see him like that.

Ridhi hugged him straightaway without saying anything,
Kartik took a deep breathe , closing his eyes.

Ridhi: What have you done to yourselves Kartik?
Why are you not telling me , what happened ?

Kartik caressed her hair.

Kartik: I came to tell you about it Ridhi.

Ridhi broke the hug and let him inside.
Kartik got seated in the couch and she sat beside him.

Kartik: Ridhi, I don't know .... how to tell you this....

Ridhi held his hand .

Ridhi: You can tell me anything Kartik, what is it babe?

Kartik: I .....I.....I cheated on you..

Ridhi's hold on his hand loosened,  and she was looking at him shocked.

Ridhi: W..What ?

Kartik: I met my ex , I have told you about her right?

Ridhi: Sara?

Kartik: Yes, you know na , that how hard it was for me to move on from her ,
she have come back to India and we met last week in a club....
She told me to give her a chance....
but trust me ....I denied her.... I told her about you.....
we both got drunk, we were not in our senses and .....we crossed our limits.....

Ridhi took her hand away as tears started rolling down from her eyes.

Kartik: I was really guilty Ridhi....
I didn't knew what to do .... I was a mess...
I ignored you and as well as her.... then I got a call saying that she tried to.... commit suicide.

Ridhi gasped and looked at him.

Kartik: I went to see her in the hospital, she was broken and she confessed that how much she loves me ....
I couldn't see her like that Ridhi.... It was hurting me ..... I realised that I still ....love her.

Ridhi looked away as tears were rolling down from her eyes uncontrollably.

Kartik: I'm sorry.... I know that I broke your heart,  I cheated on you... I didn't have control on my emotions.....
Maybe I have never stopped loving sara.....
I'm sorry Ridhi , I didn't knew how to tell you this.....I ....

Ridhi wiped her tears.

Ridhi: I understand Kartik,
whatever you did was wrong ,
maybe you never loved me ,
Sara needs you and you love her...go to her kartik, who am I to come in between both of you ?
But you should've told me this...earlier because I was really damn worried for you.... That's ok ..... now you can go Kartik.
