Hello!
Long time readers may notice that this book has some familiar faces in it. When I won the 2019 Wattys for Fantasy, I was shocked and excited. But I wasn't happy with the state of the book as it was. I knew it could be stronger with a rewrite and there were some major plot points I wanted to shift around. I'd planned to pursue traditional publishing with it once I'd completed the book.
Note: I got someone else to do the cover this time.
Then a pandemic happened, and the world changed.
It took me a while to get through the rewrite, and once I did I took a hard look at the state of publishing. To give this weird, funny, ambitious book its best chance, I decided to do it on my own.
Welcome back to the world of Scorched Bluffs, we've missed you.
