To my dearest Joe,

You often told me that in order to open another chapter in life, you need to close and leave the past behind.

You can't open two doors at once, you always need to choose. To move forward or leave backwards. To the future or the past.

I am deeply saddened to write my final letter to you. I am sorry Joe, I chose to close your chapter in my life.

It's been a roller coaster ride from the start till our marriage. I will never forget those memories we shared together. Those singing near the balcony, the laughter and cuddling at night. And of course, the crying Calli on bed.

I can never get to do that again with you, but I can, with him.

Thank you for everything my dearest, it's time to finally close the pages of your book.

I am gonna start a new one, but sadly, it's not with you anymore.

I love you Joe. You'll always have a special place in my heart.
