"Welcome to Kensington," Zavier said. Kayden stepped out of the Knight rider black BMW M2 that had bought him there and had looked around. We had seen wealth before. Once again, I had gone undercover as the son of a law magnate, which had meant spending a week in the Mansion of the Hussains. It was hard to walk in fathers' steps of success. But this place was something else again. My first sight of Kaydens country estate had a country lane at least 20 miles from Oxford. But even here, I had noticed the high walls and woodland surrounding the estate and the CCTV cameras rotating discreetly between the trees very much like home. The driveway must have been a mile long, appearing from the woods into fields so perfectly mown it was hard to believe they were made of grass. On one side was a lake with two jet skis and a Lapwing wooden sailing boat moored beside a jetty. On the other hand, partly hidden. In a slight dip a miniature racing circuit twisted and turned, with its own grandstand for spectators, seen were grazing in a paddock. The sun was shining. It was as if the summer had returned. Kaydens teeth were shining like always, he was wearing a light blue Fendi top with a limited-edition Gucci cross body bag. He looked well.
"It's their wedding anniversary Adrian, "exclaimed Kayden. Honestly, Bro, I would go inside but it is rather hard for me to do so as Father was a great friend of your parents. So, I would rather stay put here, I will be fine, Kayden. He reached out and hugged me. I watched him stride into the house, he looked happy to be home. It had been some time since I had last visited Kensington when I was 17 years old father had made me go with him on some official business alongside Hussain firms and co with the chief executive Mr. Aryaan Hussain himself the father of Kayden and papa's dearest friend. I waited in the car for some time until Zavier met me. There she was still looking as beautiful as ever. I was lost in those deep blue eyes for a moment. Moments later I was disrupted by Noah. He had tapped ever so gently across the car window, clearly to divert my mind off his beautiful sister Anisah, that I had been crushing on ever since the 10th grade. It was weird as I had an immense crush on my best friend's sister who was 2 months older than me. She smiled as she walked past and waved. My face began to feel warm, that was when I realized that I was blushing. Oh, the embarrassment I had brought upon myself. Kayden laughed at me as I looked down. He looked well and a lot healthier than he did during his time at the hospital. He was more confident. This was his home, his territory and one day he would inherit it. He was surely a multimillionaire himself overall he had many properties and land under his name.
We drove down a side street, which led to Blake's estate. Neighbours to the Hussain's, Kasha smiled ever so happily as she approached us. The mini reunion of the Keeping up with the Samis. It was a nice little therapy like session. We had so much to discuss which was the series of never-ending unfortunate events. The Blake's were close family friends of ours for many years. Kasha was discussing the latest crypto deal. It seemed like the revenues were falling short. "I do not think any of us have to worry about the clues for the time being." Zavier looked around to make sure he was not being overheard as he whispered ever so quietly as he leant forward near myself and Kayden. I followed Taz into an entrance hall with flagstones, tapestries, and a fireplace big enough to burn a bus. As we climbed up the majestic staircase, we passed paintings like Picasso, Warhol, Hockney and Lucian Freud. The Blake's certainly loved modern art. We reached the top of the stairs. Kayden took out an inhaler and puffed it twice. "I have asthma," he explained. "That's bad luck." "This way..." Leading back to the Hussain manor. We walked down a corridor with ornate wooden doors and intervals on either side. "There are thirty bedrooms," Noah said. "I don't know why we need so many. They are never full. Arrangements have been made for you to be near to Kayden. If you want anything, just pick up the phone. It's like living in a hotel, except there is no fee." Kasha justified.

I went to an open door and went into a bedroom with windows looking over my childhood lake. Tears began to roll down my face. All I could think about was father as memories haunted my current thoughts. The chauffer came in through another entrance, my luggage was on the bed. The room was modern. I took in the O Led Tv screen with various music systems. It felt good to be with the people whom I trust. It was the man himself, Aryaan Kayden's father. He inclined forward reaching out to me as I stepped forward and hugged him. He was tall and slender with circular steam punk Luis Vuitton glasses, curly black hair with dyed streaks of grey. There was a sudden silence I heard his voice breaking as he burst into tears. "Son your father was one of my most trusted companions, he was like a brother to me." I know Aryaan, he spoke very highly of you and Ariya. Mother greets you and Iris's health is stable now. "That's nice to hear Adrian, hopefully things will be well for you soon I hear good things from Daniel in regard to yourself and siblings." Yes, hopefully things will be positive. For now, it is best to tune into the good.
I was feeling dizzy. My left arm was throbbing. I left the study as casually as I could and reached my room which was found on the second floor of the manor. Sitting down heavily on the bed. I thought to myself patiently. I thought about what I was putting myself through, what could be in store for me on this rocky road full of unknown obstacles? The day began to fade away. Two hours later, I was making my way to the main hall. Noah had gone out into the garden to smoke a cigar. Kayden had announced that he was tired and had already gone to bed. I was walking down the main corridor on the ground floor. There was a fully equipped gymnasium and an Olympic-sized indoor swimming pool at the far end, I was tempted to go for a swim before going to bed. I was not as tired as I was before. I wished to dive into the warm water and wash away some of my dreadful memories. I was tempted to ring Ariana. She would have been in America by now. My path took me past the double doors of Kaleb's study. Noah had pointed it out earlier on, but we had not gone inside. On impulse, I looked left and right. The corridor stretched on, empty, in both directions, its black and white tiles giving it the appearance of the world's longest chessboard. I turned the handle. The door opened. I was unsure about what I was doing as I leant forward to turn on the light and went in. The study was enormous, dominated by a massive glass and steel desk shaped like a crescent moon. The tiled floor was partly covered by a Persian rug that must have taken years to weave. Behind the desk were glass doors leading out onto the front lawn. I counted four phones on the desk, as well as two computers, a printer, several piles of documents and a series of clocks showing time zones all over the world. There was a photo frame on his with a picture of the Hussain brothers. My heart began to shudder as I took a deep breath in. Zayn had been smiling with his arm wrapped around Kayden as he bent down with a smile on his face. A bucketload of memories hit me, including the time of Zayn's funeral. Where I saw Kayden at his worst. It was a heart-breaking time for us all.
I sat myself down on the nearest leather stool and just stared at the ceiling above. Without notice, Anisah had entered the room. In my head I wished that it were Ariana. But I had been greeted by Anisah. "Hello, it's been some time since I last saw you, heard about your dad sorry for your loss I mean you must've gone through a lot, but Maisha keeps me updated." Yeah, thank you and hey check you out you never do not impress me or is it just that you're looking even more beautiful than the last time I set my eyes on you. She laughed as she blushed and nudged me on the arm. She sat beside me, I felt comfortable as she moved closer in my direction. It was breezy outside, there was a strong breeze coming in through the nearest window. I passed her a blanket as she threw it over the both of us. Placing her head on my shoulder we both sat there In each other's presence close and safe as we fell asleep. I woke up the next morning, finding my arm around Anisah. I watched her sleep for some time. She was just so beautiful it was hard to put the words together. Just after some time she woke up and smiled at me. I moved her fringe to the side of her face and kissed her forehead. Good morning beautiful, I hope you slept well. "Good morning to you as well my Prince and why thanks I've never slept so well in quite some time," she exclaimed as we both cuddled. For some reason half of the morning was spent on me thinking of nothing but Anisah. Ariana made no difference to me. I completely forgot about her being in the presence of Anisah. There was something about Anisah that had me head over heels for her. For sure I was in love with her, and she certainly felt the same way about me. I laughed to myself as I seemed a lot like lover boy Kayden.
