Starlight and Gregory both make their way to the end of the vent and crawl out of it
Starlight releases her petals and stretch, "Phew! Good thing we're out of that vent, even if we were only in there for 10 seconds..." Starlight felt oddly excited, like she didn't feel that worried anymore
It was like she forgot about what happened... or at least she tried not to remember.
Gregory notices this
"I don't like vents, although it was my first time ever being in one heh..." Starlight chuckles nervously, though she still feels excited
It was quiet between the two, then they start walking
"Are you alright?" Gregory asks Starlight suddenly
"Huh? Oh- yeah I'm fine, why do you ask??" Starlight quickly spoke the last few words out
"Your acting... strange. Is it the vent, or the fire?"
Starlight tries to think of something to get out of that conversation
Then she sees the burn marks on Gregory's arm
"Are YOU okay??!" Starlight quickly asks, changing the subject
"Oh- yeah I'm fin-"
"No, I need to get you to a first aid station!"
"Starlight- its just a few burn marks! Its not so ba-"
"Just a FEW burn marks?!"
"Starlight-
"I need to take you there before it somehow gets worse!"
"Starlight-
"Or you hurt yourself again and-"
"Starlight please. I'm fine" Gregory gave her a soft look and touched her shoulder to gesture that he's fine
Starlight looks at the floor for a moment then speaks, "I'm- I'm sorry Gregory! It's just- I- I don't want you to-"
Starlight continues her sentence, "I don't want to lose you! Even if it is just a little injury, I have the feeling to take you to get it cleaned up anyway! Its- its how I'm programmed..? I just really care about you! I'm especially over protective right now because my friends want to- to- to harm you! Every moment I could turn my back and you could just be- gone..." Starlight quickly but sadly choked out.
Gregory hugged Starlight with tears in his eyes, and Starlight did the same. The hug lasted at least 2 minutes until Gregory released the hug.
Gregory wiped his tears and spoke, "I understand, but please try not to be so over protective?"
"I'll- I'll try.., but you know how hard it is!"
"...So does that mean your not going to patch that up?"
"No, Starlight, not until I get a really serious injury"
"But- that is-"
Gregory shot a look at Starlight then spoke, "Let's get out of this raceway. Freddy, where do we go next?" Gregory asks his faz-watch
