The Man in a Game Loop

Chapter 1

Leon was just your average kind of dude, he just graduated a month ago and now works a permanent job in a café and he enjoys it though it has a nice aesthetic. If you're wondering, yes he is single right now, he's not much of a dating type, he likes his time and if he is meant for love then it might as well come to him.

It was 7:15 am, Leon just woke up and is getting ready before his shift. He turned off his alarm, brushed, showered, ate, got ready and left the house by the time it was 7:50. His work place is near just like a few minutes away, even if he's early he doesn't mind. He met his co-worker Oliver, he usually makes the coffee. "Hey Leon how's it going? I'm going to the arcade with a couple of friends you wanna join?" "Maybe later" "Ok". Anyway Leon finished his shift and left for home.

When he did he just changed in comfortable clothes and went to get something to eat, he got his food and went to the couch to watch something on the tv. Few hours later it was getting late so he went to sleep.

His dream He was just walking in a park or garden? Well, it had grass and it was pretty with a few trees. In a flash the scene changed it was a black figure. Definitely didn't look human, It was big and had a tail? Leon can't tell because the figure is completely black. Suddenly the figure came running to him and... beep beep beep.

That was the end, Leon woke up in a sweat. He's actually seen this same figure in a few dreams of his although he doesn't know why exactly, well it was time for his shift again. He did his same routine and went. Little did he know that this day, something would happen

Leon finished his day like he normally would he went back home, changed and went to the kitchen only to see some stuff was broken and on the floor, He got suspicious because he's pretty sure the door was locked when he left and came in, he also saw a broken window. Great, now someone is in his house and he has to fix that window :/ He checked the house and saw a lump in the bedsheets in the guest bedroom...

Leon got scared so he left the bedroom and went to the kitchen to look for weapons to defend himself. He searched and found stuff, an old bat and a horn. He didn't have much but he thought it was enough to scare whoever was under the bedsheet. He took the bat and went back to the bedroom and with force he hit the lump. The lump moved and got out of the bedsheet, it looked like a child with silver fur but before he could look at it more the creature ran towards him and jump scared him and attacked him.
