Asahi woke up feeling his head pounding. As far as he remembered, he was still not on their house so he assumed that he's all doomed.
"You're finally awake" a voice greeted him. He immediately wandered his eyes around seeing a figure kneeling in front of him.
Asahi jolt up from where he was lying, still looking around. Everything feels new for him.
He can finally see the shelves were in wood brown color. The books with different colors in their covers.
He once said to himself that he doesn't need to see the colors to be happy but at this moment, he was feeling very overwhelmed of what he is seeing.
After all, it's feels happy and overwhelming to see colors.
Without Asahi's knowledge, a tear escaped his eyes upon seeing the colorful things around him.
"H-hey. Are you alright? Why are you crying?" Jaehyuk worriedly asked his mono, seeing him in tears.
"I.. I can see colors" the mono said in disbelief. Jaehyuk couldn't feel more proud of himself and also for his mono.
It was his responsibility after all, to help him see colors that he had never seen ever in his life.
"Of course, baby"
Well, he doesn't seriously want to take advantage of the situation but calling him baby just feels right for the probe.
"They're beautiful" the younger said unconsciously.
Yeah, like you.
"Do you want to see something more beautiful?" the younger was sniffing when his eyes looked down on his probe.
"W-what?"
"I'll show you my love" the mono joked and held his hand helping him to stood up.
The latter didn't dared to talk back but showing his love? What does his mean by that? How ridiculous.
"Look closely" Jaehyuk said as he was pointing at the wall close to them.
It took the probe a couple of minutes before he wrapped his arms around the mono's body opening the flashlight he was holding.
Asahi didn't have the chance to complained when he saw the rainbow on the wall.
"Can you see my love?" Jaehyuk asked with a smile and placing his face on the younger's shoulders while admiring how close his face with his probe.
"W-what is that?" the younger suddenly asked.
Jaehyuk chuckled a bit before focusing back on the prism that he was currently holding.
"What I'm holding is called Prism. It often shows when a light travels through this glass that I am holding presenting you the colors that you see right now"
"So this is the color of the rainbow?"
Asahi felt the older nodded within his shoulders, feeling his hot breath on his neck.
"Asahi"
"Hmm?"
Butterflies, Butterflies on his stomach when he heard his mono hummed in response. What is happening to him?
"Do you trust me now?"
Asahi didn't gave him any answer because even he, himself, he doesn't know what to answer to that question.
He'll admits that he hated his probe just because when the moment that he needed him the most, he didn't come to find him. I mean even until now, he still hated the fact that his probe was a guy.
The question completely faded on his mind when he realized that everything was going back on gray scale again.
"No.. No.. The colors.."
At some point, Jaehyuk felt bad for his mono that it was the time when colors were starting fading again. Everything was back to normal again.
"Hey listen, you need to show me the colors again" the younger seriously mumbled, holding both of his shoulders.
He wanted to help him so much but even him can't do that.
"Jaehyuk.." his eyes looked up on him again, hearing how the younger mentioned his name for the first time.
That made his heart beat wild like why does it sounded right when he was saying it.
"I said show me the colors again!" He was in surprised when Asahi grabbed him on his collar, desperately asking him to help him see the colors again.
He was agitated, Jaehyuk knows it but he still understands why. The feeling of seeing the gray scale everyday, that must have been hard and sad for him at some point.
"Asahi.." Jaehyuk softly called his mono and held his hand on his collar, trying to calm him down.
"No need to rush yourself"
He hated Yoon Jaehyuk with all his heart but why does he had this different effect on him. It was like calming him down just with his soft and relaxing voice.
"All these colors are yours"
Even me.
"And besides I will not leave you alone anymore. I'll always help you to see colors over and over again"
