Percy's pov.

I stretched out on the couch and snoozed for a bit before I got hungry

I peaked in in Bruce

He was still snoring peacefully the only thing he was wearing were torn up shorts

I pulled some clothes from my closet and set them at the end of my bed

I threw a blanket over Bruce and went to the kitchen

Then my phone buzzed I sighed and answered it

"Hello?"

"Percy Jackson!"

I pulled it away from my ear and grimaced

"Hey wise girl...."

"I just heard that there was a mysterious boy that was chased through New York by a giant green rage monster! I told you to keep a low profile! that's it I'm coming home"

"No!..... it wasn't me"
I lied smoothly I didn't want her to fail this project it was so important to her

"Then who was it?"

I shrugged to myself "I have no clue maybe one of those avenger guys"

"Oh...... ok percy I trust you ,I guess I'm just paranoid, how is work?"

"It's great I love teaching the kids but this one guy sort of ticked me off and pushed me in the shark tank..." she laughed

"I'm not going to ask, alright seaweed brain I got to go bye I love you"

"Bye wise girl, love you"

I hung up and sighed I noticed how dirty my clothes really were and threw them off and jumped in the shower

I changed back into a purple camp Jupiter shirt and blue jeans I didn't bother with shoes

I went to the kitchen and started making pancakes and coffee when I heard a groan in the other room

I picked up a coffee mug and walked to the room

Low and behold Bruce was awake and was laying in his back he was rubbing his head

"Hey Bruce" I said gently he looked at me slowly and frowned

"Percy? what happened..... oh I feel like crap how many buildings did I run through?" I chuckled and sat his coffee on the dresser

"Not that many but you did throw some buses....." he grabbed his back and flinched

"You ok?" I asked he looked dirty he had rubble on his shoulders and hair there were dark circles under his eyes

"Maybe...." he muttered "where are we?" I scratched the back of my neck
Nervously

"We're at my apartment I had no clue where you live and..... well after hulk hit tony into a building I Didn't think he would really welcome you with open arms" I blushed at my choice if words

He nodded an flinched

"You should rest" I stated and pushed him back on the bed

"I'm not tired....." he muttered

"That wasn't a question" I said firmly he fell back on the bed and snored softly I saw his phone on the floor and picked it up

I crept out and stood by the door

I noticed smoke coming from the kitchen

I cursed in Greek and ran to my burning pancakes

I Doused it with water and sighed loudly

"What am I suppose to do with a unconscious Bruce banner......."
