"Hey guys!" I skipped into the drawing room only to see the others shuffling around and hiding things behind pillows, shelf's and vases.

"What are you hiding..?" I questioned, everyone just looked at me nervously.

"Edmund, Lucy..?" I looked at them, they wouldn't lie.

"Nothing!"

"Yea, you should go." Peter said pushing me out of the door, smiling and closing the big wooden doors.

"Oh." I said shrugging it off and walking down to the beach for a little stroll.

The next week or two everyone was avoiding me and I was getting really worried, what if I said something wrong.

"Ed!" I yelled as I did Edmund just ran off.

"Why.." I said before running to my room and sobbing.

"Tomorrow is my birthday, what if they're still ignoring me then!?" I yelled into my pillow, tears pelting down my face.

"My dear Ariah, what seems to be the problem?" Came Repecheep voice as I felt him jump onto my bed.

"Everyone is ignoring and avoiding me." I sobbed as I sat up to face Repecheep.

"Oh.. well I was told to inform you that tomorrow evening you are to go to the ball room in you're nicest gown." He said casually.

"If you need anything I'll be near, just call." He said jumping down off the bed and making his way to the door.

"Reep?" I muttered.

"Hm?" He hummed in response.

"Thank you." I smiled, standing to find something to wear.

"Morning, Deep!" I said cheerily, bouncing into the kitchen where Reepecheap was stealing muffins off of a grand plate.

"You seem happy, dear Ariah?" He said jumping off the bench and scurrying to my feet.

"Not every day a normal girl gets to go to a grand ball in a dress fit for a princess!" I said, I didn't actually know it was a ball but I was sure it was

"Of course, of course!" Reep said bowing and motioning for me to walk with him as he excited the kitchen.

"May I come see the dress?" He asked polightly, I still wasn't used to being treated like a royal.

"Sure thing!" I jumped, giving Reep a hand onto my shoulder. Most of the time Susan or Lucy would help me get ready for formal occasions which only consisted of seeing Ed and Peter but I hadn't seen them today, besides they aren't talking to me.

"It certainly is very Grand!" Reepecheap proclaimed happily before rushing me to change so he could see.

"I'm coming out!" I yelled from behind the bathroom door.

As I stepped out the door in the yellow gown and my hair done up with braids forming a bun on the back of my head I saw Reepecheap with his mouth touching the marble floor of my room.

"Shall we go m'lady?" He said sarcastically as I giggled and (once again) lifted him to me shoulder.

"I will end you if you touch my hair." I laughed. As we stopped in front of the grand oak doors I took in a deep breath, opening these doors was always a pain.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!" where the words that flooded my ears as I stepped into the grand ball room. This is why they didn't talk to me!?

"Hey, Ariahs." Peter came up to me with an apologetic and soft smile.

"Sorry abou-" I cut him off with the touch of my lips on his cheek, I then ran off to join in the dancing.

All I could hear was Narnian music and chattering of all the people who came along with their laughter and delightful squeels of joy.

"Ed!" I waved him over to the dance floor.

"You seem to be enjoying yourself?" He laughed as he approached me.
