Part 10 - Once upon a time... Myung-Ok's backstory

Start from the beginning

- So, do you have any ideas how to take this thing and not get stuck as a guardian or something like this? – Myung-Ok asked me immidiately, while I spotted few guards looking at us from a distance.

- As long as Cain gives us some time before the story ends, I think all we have to do is step inside, take it and find a copy of this book immidiately, I don’t see any other option in here. – I responded without thinking about another answer.

- Yeah... And if that fails and one of us gets stuck, then what? – She said with anxiety in her voice

- I... I don’t know. Maybe Olivia will be able to reverse this effect, but it will be better if we make sure it doesn’t happen.

For few seconds we stayed quiet, thinking about the risk which we have to take, before Myung-Ok looked at guards in the distance and said:

- Heh... They are still afraid of me, even when we are trying to help them save the world...

- But why? I mean, I know you are a keter class SCP for them, but...

Before I was able to say anything, she grabbed my hand and looked into my eyes.

- It is simple, they have lost hundreds of people because of me. Class-D, scientists, guards, field agents, I caused them too much trouble to be classified as safe or at least euclid.

I didn’t say anything, because I couldn’t understand, how a person I thought I knew, was able to brutally slaughter so many people. I understood Abel’s anger, I knew why Olivia once wanted to destroy this world, but I didn’t know her motivation but at the same time I was too afraid to ask.

- Do you want to know why I did that? It is simple. I hate humanity.

- It is a lie, I can feel it from your voice. What is the real reason for that?

- I told you already, I...

- If that was the case, then you wouldn’t help us in this mission. Please, tell me the truth.

She closed her fists and eyes, took a deep breath, and after a moment she looked at me again and said:

- Do you want to know the truth? Do you really want to know something I have never told anyone?

- I do. – I said without hesitation.

- Alright... But I think it will be better if instead of telling you, I will show you everything.

Her eyes started glowing and I lost my consciousness, before waking up in an observation chamber. A pile of documents written in Japaneese was lying on a table, but I was unable to read them as I have never learnt how to read it. Nobody was present in the area except a small, approximately six year old girl, who was handcuffed to a chair and was struggling in order to escape.

- What is this place? – I asked with anxiety, fear and curiosity at the same time.

- A hidden laboratory in Japan, in a year 1935.

After she said these words, two men entered the observation chamber while another one entered the room with a girl.

- I will translate their words for you Y/N, so don’t be surprised when you hear English instead of Japaneese.

One of them looked at a pile of papers, and without any hesitation said:

- Experiment number 103, subject KG-12. Attempts of creating an obedient super soldier for our army for the future war haven’t been successful yet, and because of that, we are going to try again with a younger subject. Just to confirm it won’t die immidiately during the procedure, please perform a standard pain resistance test on her.
