YOUR POV: I watched as he flirted with a beautiful black haired girl, her hand lightly holding his as they laughed together. I couldn't help but be jealous- he's not even my boyfriend, it's so wrong.
The girl he was flirting with was Angelica.
She had dark skin, silky black hair, freckles across her nose and adorable big brown eyes. I could never beat her beauty, Camilo will never like me as much as he likes Angelica, she's like an angel...
I sighed and turned to walk away, only to bump into Pepa. "Oh sorry- Y/n! Hey, why so upset?" She asked in a soft tone, placing a hand on my shoulder. I shook my head and frowned. "Its stupid" I replied and she chuckled. "Its not stupid if it makes you upset, Y/n" she said and i smiled.
"Its just..Camilo..." I whispered and she growled. "What did that boy do?!" His mother started but i quickly calmed her down. "NO! Pepa, it's nothing bad..i'm just yknow...jealous" I explained in embarrassment and she smiled softly. "Why are you jealous?" She asked and my shoulders slumped.
"I really like him, Pepa. But..it's clear that he has more interest in Angelica" i looked towards the boy to see him and Angelica hugging, looking at each other deeply, full of love. Pepa followed my gaze and frowned when she saw her son, who was now swaying Angelica, whispering things to her.
She looked back at me and put her hand on the small of my back. "Come on Y/n, lets not be upset over a boy. How about this, you can play with Antonio, he's much better than Camilo!" She teased and i laughed at her, nodding in agreement to play with Antonio since he hasn't got anyone to take care of him.
"Antonio is wonderful at making people feel better and you'll completely forget about Camilo! Oh and- don't let some boy bring you down Y/n, you're better on your own" Pepa informed before kissing my forehead and walking off. I thought about what she said before sighing sadly and going to see Antonio.
A few hours later, i was on Antonio's bed, he was sleeping on my chest with his stuffed leopard that Mirabel sewed for him. I smiled softly before scooting out from under him, tucking him in and leaving his...very beautiful room.
On my way to wherever i was going, i bumped into Camilo. Oh dear... "Y/n! I've been looking for you, you won't believe what happened!" He said and since i was curious, i looked towards him with a confused look that said 'go on..' he huffed and said "Angelica's mother made me hang out with her, ALL DAY! I hated it..i just wanted to be with you!"
He smiled sweetly and grabbed my hand while i stared at him in shock. He didn't like Angelica?! "Wait- i thought you and Angelica were...you know, dating" I replied and he started laughing while shaking his head. "Me? Date her? No way! She's so whiny and always feels the need to cling onto me" he answered, rolling his eyes.
"But..you seemed so happy with her earlier" i said in pure confusion. He smiled softly before pulling me into a hug, resting his chin on my head. "Only because her Mami was right behind us..." he replied nervously and i smiled brightly and hugged him tighter. "Camilo, i need to tell you something"
He pulled out of the hug and looked into my eyes. I bit my lip nervously "i-i kinda like you and i got a little jealous of you and Angelica.." i murmured and Camilo smirked. "Could you speak up, I couldn't hear you?" He teased.
I repeated it a little louder this time and Camilo blushed but smirked the whole time. "So..do you like me t-" before i could finish, his lips smashed against mine. I guess there was no reason to be jealous of Angelica the pick me bitch...
