"There's a lot of things you don't know about me." Alex countered with her own smirk as she swiped his hand off her head.
"Are all humans like that?" Ratchet questioned as he looked over at the retreating group, a grumpy scowl on his face.
"Not all." Alex hummed with a tilt of her head. "You have good ones and then some bad ones. It's pretty much a give or take really." she answered with a shrug as explained as best as she could for the aliens around her. "Anyways, let's just ignore that ever happened and get on with the day." Alex waved off as she started walking again, leaving the scene behind her, the five walking alongside her. "And make sure no one walks off by themselves." she hinted with an amused smile on her face as she tilted her head over her shoulder at the pouting scout.
"Don't sweat it, Bee." Jazz smirked smugly as he patted the blonde's shoulder. "Spitfire looked like she was on the verge of ripping this place apart to find ya." he said rather loudly as he smirked over at the redhead, who turned to face her Guardian with a raised brow.
"As much as I want to deny it...that does sound like something I would do." Alex chuckled with a shake of her head, acknowledging her flaws.
"Didn't think ya cared." Ironhide jabbed at the redhead, who blew raspberries at his words, knowing full well the black haired avatar was trying to get a rise out of her. "Surprised ya didn't kill the fragger though." he stated with a huff as he shoved his hands into his pockets.
"That would be murder and that would put me in jail for the rest of my life."
"And you would know that because?" Ratchet raised a brow at Alex's words.
"I looked it up so I could sway myself not to commit murder." Alex replied calmly as she crossed her arms behind her head.
Jazz and Ironhide snorted at her words while Bumblebee blinked over at her dumbfounded by her words. Ratchet shook his head and grumbled curse words and among other things. Optimus gave the redhead an unamused look along with a raised brow.
Alex held her heads up in surrender at the reprimanding look, a smirk on her face as she tilted her head to the side.
"My hands are clean don't worry." Alex reassured the Prime, who shook his head slightly before he focused on the path ahead.
"And your spanner?" Jazz jested with a smirk as he looked over at his Charge.
"That is something we never talk about." Alex smirked in return as she covered her teasing expression with her hand, hiding the growing grin on her face.
"That is quite enough, you two." Optimus spoke up, tilting his head ever so slightly towards the mischievous duo next to him.
"Whatever could you mean?" Alex sang innocently as she looked away from Optimus. Said Prime narrowed his eyes a fraction.
"Alex."
"Alright, alright."

The mechanic grinned to herself as she watched four out of five avatars look around the sports shop they were in. Though Alex held no particular interest in the store, she wanted to see how the guys would react to it.
Jazz and Bumblebee were looking at the sporty shoes that were on display while Ratchet tried to fathom how the footballs were made, having not been used to human helium yet. Ironhide was with the Medical Officer bored out of his mind after he tried to use the golf clubs on display as a weapon. Something Ratchet had hit him across the head for.
Next to her was a silent Optimus, his blue eyes closed as Alex spun a rugby ball in her hands, playing around with it as she waited for the other avatars to be done with their exploration. Also planning on taking Jazz to a nearby record store since she knew her Guardian had a thing for music and she herself wanted to visit the old fashioned store.
"You ok, there Big Guy?" Alex asked as she glanced over at Optimus before she focused on the spinning ball in her hands.
"I am." Optimus replied with a low hum to his voice as he stood still and straight with crossed arms. "Are you?" he cracked his eyes open slightly, peering through lidded eyes at the redhead next to him.
"Annoyed is all." Alex shrugged as she lightly threw the ball up into the air, spinning it as it did so. "You guys didn't deserve to see that today." she pointed out with an annoyed hum as he caught the ball, squeezing it slightly before she played catch with herself.
"Is what they said true?"
"Eh...Half and half." Alex answered, tilting her head from side to side. "I was a loner for high school but it wasn't because I thought I was better than everyone else." she clarified when she saw how Optimus opened his eyes slightly, blue orbs looking over at her as he awaited her continuation. "It's rather that I never got along with others, because I was too different." Alex caught the ball once again, green orbs going into a blank daze as she spoke. "Got made fun of because I liked stuff that wasn't girly or anything like that. The guys didn't wanna hang with me because I didn't like sports and the girls thought I was a freak for being into 'stuff only boys do'." she explained with a small frown on her face. "Don't get me wrong I did have some friends in school, some of the best people I ever met, but I just didn't fit in with the status quo they had." Alex shrugged with an easy going grin on her face, having already gotten over her high school life.
"What did this 'Nathan' have against you?" Optimus couldn't help but ask. It hadn't escaped him that Nathan had a personal vendetta against the mechanic.
"I rejected him in front of the whole school." Alex replied casually with an innocent look on her face. Optimus raised a brow at her and Alex chuckled at his reaction. "To be fair, he asked me out in front of the whole school, trying to peer-pressure me into saying 'yeah'." she defended herself as she shook her head. "Don't think he expected me to be so blunt and honest about my feelings." Alex chuckled to herself as she recalled the way her sixteen year old self answered the playboy of her high school.
"Truly. You are one of a kind." Optimus chuffed with a shake of his head, an amused twitch to his lips before he faced forwards and closed his eyes again
"Oh and Optimus?" the black and blue haired avatar raised a brow at his designation, blue orbs looking over at the redhead next to him, curiosity sparkling in his eyes. "Don't listen to anything Nathan said." she looked up at him with a carefree smile on her face. "I happen to like the way you talk." grinned with a playful wink before she looked back over at the store, the grin morphing into an amused smile as she saw Ratchet having a go at a blissfully ignorant Ironhide.
Optimus' eyes widened a fraction at her words, her grinning face slotting itself into his memory banks. His eyes softened and a ghost of a smile crawled onto his face, a twinge of pink blooming on his pale human cheeks.
