Chapter 1 - Avatars Part 2

"I'm just finishing what Nathan started." the redhead shrugged with an unbothered expression on her face, though her eyes did glint with mischief.

"Yes and while I do agree that he did indeed start this." a pointed look from the Prime was thrown Nathan's way. Said boy tensed up at the look, the calm and authoritative tone in his voice, making him shiver and back away slightly. "It is best if you don't-!"

"Why the hell are you talking all formal and shit?" Nathan cut off the Prime rudely, making everyone look at the blackette, his friends wore surprised and incredulous looks at what he had just said. "You think you're some sort of big shot or something?" he scoffed as he crossed his arms while Daphne stepped to his side, awkwardly rubbing her forearms. "Well you aren't so quit it." The four avatars narrowed their eyes even more at his words, offended by the fact this human had insulted their leader when he was trying to save his aft from an obviously humiliating situation.

Might as well be spitting on the Prime.

Alex slowly tilted her head towards Nathan, her eyes shadowed by her hair.

"Did you say something?" she questioned with an unsettling calm tone, one that made every human shiver while the avatars tensed up slightly at her voice. "I'm sorry, I don't think I heard you right." Alex walked out of Optimus' grasp and slowly approached Nathan. "Say it again." she requested, though judging from the way she had firmly yet at the same time calmly said it, it felt more like a dare.

"I said he's not-! ACK!" Nathan didn't get to finish his sentence as he was suddenly lifted off the ground.

"Good, so I wasn't hearing things." Alex hummed as she tightened her grasp on Nathan's shirt, his finger bunched up on the fabric, keeping a tight and secure hold as she held the taller human off the ground. "Listen closely, Nathan. Cause I'm only gonna say this once." she looked up at the blackette, her green orbs brewing a fiery hell flame that threatened to burn him on the spot if he didn't walk carefully. "Talk shit about me all you want. I don't care." Alex slowly pulled him down so she could stare right into his wide eyed and surprised eyes. "But if you ever talk shit about my friends again...you'll be walking away with more than just bruised ego." she promised in a low tone, though her words seemed to echo into everyone's ears. "Now apologize." Alex dropped Nathan on his ass, stepping away from him with a calm and unbothered look on her face as well as a matching tone. "My friend here was trying to save your ungrateful ass from being humiliated even more, and you just spat on his efforts." the redhead stopped once she stood between Jazz and Bumblebee, an apologetic glint in her eyes when she looked up at Optimus.

Optimus shook his head at her, silently telling her that it was alright. He had his few share of arrogant and incredibly rude Cybertronians in the past and while he did his best to ignore and wave them off, he knew that somebots, would not take kindly to such insults.

And that especially applied to Alex.

"I'm waiting." Alex called out to the infuriated blackette, who slowly got back up onto his feet.

"I'm...sorry..." Nathan begrudgingly hissed out in apology as he glared at the redhead with venomous hazel orbs.

"Now get." Alex nodded over to where Nathan came from and then closed her eyes, turning away from him. She didn't even bother to look at the retreating Nathan when she could hear the low hissing and scolding the blackette was getting from his three companions. She did open her eyes however to address the small crowd that had surrounded them to watch them. "Nothing to see here guys, just your average shopping day." she called out to the bystanders, who quickly scurried on their way to other shops.

"Slag Red." Ironhide chortled with amused huff. "Didn't know you had it in you." the Weapon Specialist ruffled Alex's locks, an amused and prideful smirk on his face at what he had just witnessed.
