Chapter 1 - Avatars Part 1

Start from the beginning

"Holomatter Avatars." the green haired man was the one who answered. "We use them to fit in with the native species of any planets we were on." he explained shortly as he pushed his glasses up. "Though this is the first time we've ever had to mimic ourselves as humans." he hummed as he looked down at his own human hand.

"....Why didn't you use them before?" Alex asked as she felt her brow raise with question. The memory of having to sneak the five into her parents garden a few months ago was still very fresh in her memories.

"We didn't feel the need to." the blue haired man answered honestly as he looked over at the female, sensing her slight rise in aggravation.

"So why are you here?" Alex asked before she took a sip of her tea, humming lightly as the warm liquid filled her mouth.

"Because we need ya to teach us the basics of being human." Jazz answered as dropped his head back over the sofa, his visor glinting lightly in the soft rays of daylight coming in through her windows.

"...This is gonna be a long day." Alex sighed as she flickered eyes between the five men in her house. "Alright, fine. I'll do what I can." she gave in with a tilt of her head. "I've got a customer coming in for one to pick up his car so after that I'll be free." she informed the robot in disguise as she spun on her heel, heading back to her room.

"And what are we supposed to do?" the blackette asked with a gruff voice and crossed arms.

"Watch TV!" Alex hollered as she climbed the stairs.

"Does anybot know what she was talking about?" Ironhide asked as he looked over at his allies. Bee let out a muffled grunt as he pointed at the black screen in front of them.

"Bumblebee do you know how to operate it?" Optimus asked as he flickered his gaze over the black screen that reflected his holomatter avatar. Bumblebee nodded before reaching out and grabbing the sleek back remote on the sofa's arm and switching it on. The TV flickered to life and the holo-avatars stared at the screen that was currently showing the morning news of Los Angeles.

From her room, Alex could hear the TV roar to life and felt relieved that she didn't have to explain that topic to the sentient aliens.

'By the way...where did they park their alt.modes?' the question popped in her head. Curiously, Alex peaked through the curtain to see the outside world and her street. She deadpanned at the sight of a full street, the majority of the room being taken by five particular automobiles. 'I hope the others don't choose anything fancy or extravagant.' she hoped as she closed her curtain.

"Why is there a human in here?" Ironhide grumbled as he stared at the man standing in the waiting area by the mechanic's desk. The blackette was standing in the doorway between Alex's home and her garage, separating the two compartments. Originally, he had planned to see what was taking the redhead human so long, seeing as how it was one in the afternoon and she had still not come out for the past five hours.

The human looked surprised at the blackette's appearance, not expecting the man to answer. A few hours had passed since Alex came downstairs in her mechanic outfit and immediately she went to work on fixing the Bmw 320I XDRIVE she had in her garage. Leaving the Autobots in their human forms to learn small details from the monitor in her living room.

"I'm sorry, is Miss.Alex here?" the man asked as he looked around nervously to see if the redhead was there. At his voice, a curious Bumblebee popped out from behind the Weapon Specialist, blinking at the sight before him.
