Margo was an average person, she did what average people do. She went to school, had a job, and ate and drank like everyone else. When she got home from school she sat her backpack by the door like she usually would, without the weight of her books and laptop on her back it was easier to walk up the stairs and go to her room. When she was in her room she lay in her bed thinking about her crush, Jamie. Jamie had dark brown hair that fades into a light pink at the end, her beautiful tan skin was like fresh bread, one of her eyes as blue as the ocean and the other is a breath-taking gray color like a foggy afternoon.

Margo heard footsteps coming up the stairs and she immediately knew who it was, her mom. She immediately started to panic and wanted to cry because she knew something was going to happen. Her steps sounded furious when she got to her door she heard a bone-chilling scream. "MARGO YOU STUPID B! TCH!!!!!" her mom shouted, "WHY CAN'T YOU BE NORMAL FOR ONCE SOMEONE JUST TOLD ME THAT YOU LIKE A GIRL, are you even my daughter." As soon these words came out of her mom's mouth Margo knew she wasn't safe for now, their mom coming in wanting to teach her child a lesson. Her little girl is not gay, right? but if she was they wouldn't be living in her house anymore. Their mom grabbed a bag off the floor, outraged. Her mother started going through her drawers snatching shirts, pants, underwear, and bras shoving them into the bag. Margo was still stunned, her mind now just catching up to what her mother was doing. Jumping up from her bed she alertly looked at her mom. Margo's eyes glanced at the bag that had been thrown at their face leaving a few scrapes and marks on her face.
