A YEAR had passed since you and albedo started dating and it was currently a hot summer's night. humming slightly to yourself you filled your bag with various snacks and a small blanket. tonight you had planned to go on a midnight picnic in a park nearby your apartment with albedo.
saying you were pretty excited was an understatement since this was something you had always wanted to try, so finally gaining the opportunity to do so, you made sure that you had everything with you when leaving your home.
meeting with albedo near the elevator you noticed he had brought his guitar you gifted him for his birthday along. glancing at it your remembered when you first found out that he was able to play the guitar
it surprised you, but at the same time you probably should've saw it coming with how unpredictable he was. as you were stuck on what to give him for his birthday, the thought of a new guitar would be the perfect fit
the way his face shimmered when opening the box was something you could never forget. revealing a natural wooden acoustic with his initials along with yours carved into the neck of the guitar, it had became one of his most prized possessions

once reaching the park you both found a spot. laying down your blanket on the floor you took a quick look around. there were other people out at this time too since it was too hot during the day to do most outside things, so it wasn't as unusual to be in a park at midnight
