Chapter 12

I was back in the cell after the talk with Enki I felt uneasy I want to help the guy I really do but how as I try to find a way others came in my mind mostly though it was Samon 'I hope they ok last time I saw Samon he was all blood' I had tears in my eyes "I don't want to lose anyone else not again please not again' I was curled up into a ball "are you ok" I turn my head to see who it was "oh hey Enki" I fake a smile "I know you're lying" I let oiut a shaky breath "it's just I remembered how I saw everyone and I just don't want to lose them" I looked up at the ceiling "you know no matter how many times I seen peopple death I can't get over it as seeing my friends like that the ones I made here it hurts more" I turn my attention to Enki "they're safe there alive" I gave him a sweet smile "can I ask you a question" I gave him a sligth nod "how did you get that huge scar across your back" I stared at the ground "that one is a long story" I heard the cell door open and saw Enki came in and sat down "well if you want to hear it that badly" I got up went over to him and sat down "beware it's gruesome" he gave me a nod to continue

*flashback*

it was the middle of summer "why is it so hot" Rose cried out "Rose we are in the middle of the desert" my voice was only a whisper "so stop complaining we need to find the animal and capture it before it kills more people" it was my first mission as the captain "hey (y/n) I don't mean to be rude or anything but why are we hiding here" I was still staring out in the distance "that's because the monster was seen out here last so we havw a high possibility to catcher it out here" our camp wan't too far from here "(y/n look over there" I set my sights on creature 'interesting'
the creature was at least 10 feet it has spikes skills it blended in with the desert "all right everyone be careful let's try to approach it" as we towards it I saw a claw mark on it the mark seem to be new it was still bleeding on one else paid it any mind as I signal Rose to grab the other side of the net we threw the net over the animal capturing it what got me was it didn't even put up a fight "well that was easy" Luke cheered "maybe a little bet too easy" I stood there puzzled "oh come on no one died this time" Cherry stared "you're right let's just get back to camp"

*AT CAMP*

"It's nightfall already" Rose, Luke and Cherry was sitting at the campfire "(y/n) come over and join us" Luke yelled "just give me a minute" I focsed on the animal I already had some notes on it well I should say he
he was a 10 feet young adult male with peach color scales what got me though was the injury on the creature I then notice somthing he change colors now he was dark bule to blend in "fascinating" Cherry came over to me "what is" I stared at the creature "he like a chamaeleon he can change his color" Cherry just shook her head at me "hey Cherry can you get me the first a kit" she did what I asked "well i'm going to bed don't do anything atupid"
as everyone went to bed I wanted to help the poor thing "hey there I'm not gonna hurt you" I sat in front of him he was growling I saw what he was looking to I smiled as I removed my pocket knife he stop growling then I held out some meat "here you go" he took it as I waited for him to get done I put my hand out he sniffed it and let me pet him "good boy can I look at your wound" he was hesitant but showed me it the wound was deep it was to deep for my liking "can I patch it up I promise I'll be careful" as I grabbed the materials I needed surprisingly he didn't attack me "and there you go you're patched up" I  gave him a smile my hand was still in the cage but he didn't attack me he just licked my hand at night I just bonded with him he was one for the most sweet creature I've ever met

*THE NEXT MORNING*

"all I heard was yelling I went over to the people I brought with me on the mission "what's going on" I saw the fear on their faces "the monster he's gone" Rose was petrified "no he's not" my team jsut stared at me "are you insane do you see him in there" Cherry point out "I let him out and look here he comes" as everyone backed away he came right behing me "brop it" was all I said and with that dropped a stick "good boy" I scratched right underneath his chin as everyone else looked at me like I'm crazy "(y/n) what the fuck" I just smiled "he's like a big puppy his name is Dragon" onse I said his name he laid down " you can not be serious" as Luke started to leisure me we stopped we all heard a loud noise "what do you think that was" I started running "one way to find out"

*AFTER RUNNING*

we found another one except it was bigger and it spot us and was coming tortoise us "run" was the only would I could get out as everyone stared running I stood behind to try and it's attention once I had it attention I started running in the opposite direction but it was to fast and caught up with me and it claude my back I was going bleed out it tried to bite me but Dragon stop the other one I could only see bits and pieces but Dragon kiiled the other one he then used his tail to pick me up and take me back to the camp so I could get help that was the last thing remembered from that day
