The first thing I did as soon as I saw my brother was to hug him, "How was first day?" He queried, beaming, when we broke the hug.

Excitement gushed within me, I squealed. Chan's smile went wide, "Let's talk inside?" He suggests when he saw the crowd around us, and I agreed immediately.

It's seven minutes past 5 pm, my first day is done and I am looking forward for tomorrow. Chan seemed to come here earlier than I expected. I thought I'd still need to wait, what time does his classes ends?

The second I clasped my seatbelt, I turned to him.

"It was-" I had to stop midway when I couldn't find the exact words to describe how my day was- exciting, terrifying, satisfying, I don't know!

After lunch, I met friends. The instructor was late for like fifteen minutes so I had time to mingle around. Well, I didn't literally mingled, I just sat there and waited for someone to approach me.

It worked, somehow.

Lisa and Jisoo. My new friends.

They said they wanted to eat with me for lunch but I had Taehyung with me so they backed off. They're new too, like me. Lisa's from Thailand while Jisoo's an exchange student from Korea.

But that's okay, we will have lunch together tomorrow! I'm so excited! I'm planning to bring extra food for everybody. My gosh, I'll be very busy cooking tonight.

The other girls weren't really bad, they glance and gleam at me from time to time too. I guess they're just really shy to approach me, or their friend groups are full already. I hope it's the latter.

"Indescribable?" I looked at my brother.

"Yes! It was thrilling at first, and then I felt nervous but ended up feeling so so so happy. I met potential friends, Christian!" I told him excitedly but he grimaced at the mention of his full name. LOL

"Shut it, Jen." He said, clearly annoyed. I laughed internally.

"How many are your 'potential' friends?" He asked while also getting something from the backseat.

"Three." Minus Taehyung, of course. I don't plan to befriend him. We keep on arguing, our friendship would be very messy if it happens. Plus, he's very rude. I can't stand him.

"Loser," I turned to him and gasped dramatically, "when I went to school, boys and girls lined up to befriend me." He boasted, a smirk creeping up to his face.

Dang, how does that feel like?

I only scoffed, I have nothing else to say. He was sent to school during middle school while I was sent when I turned 16. I didn't have many interactions with people other than him and the househelps cause my parents doesn't to bring me to social events and refuses to let me out so naturally, I have trouble interacting.

He just chuckled and began to drive and so I focused my eyes on the road and thought about the food I'll be bringing tomorrow instead.

I heard a ruffling sound of something so I looked at him again.

My lips parted.

"Surprise?" He grinned.

"Is that for me?" He was holding a wide rectangular box, a popular label of a phone was displayed above it. My eyes turned into hearts.

Yes, I don't have a phone. But I have a laptop at home, that's what I use

"Yeah, create some social media accounts so we could talk through it. Today's not a busy day since it's just orientation and stuff, but I don't know about the following days. I might not be able to pick you if I'm packed so I'll call to inform you." I wasn't really paying attention to what he declared, I am dying to reach for that darn phone.
