"Carrots" I heard the girl say
"Behind you" She said leaning towards him, Andrew turned his head seeing the carrots behind him "Oh! Right, excuse me" he nervously laughs stepping out of the way, as the lady threw the carrots on the counter
"Oh, a real howler in July, yes?" Oaken asked trying to make conversation "Wherever could it be coming from?" Oaken asked
"The North Mountain" The lady said placing the rope and ice axe on the counter "North Mountain" Andrew and I said in sync looking at each other
"That will be 40" the woman scoffed "40? No, 10" she said, Oaken tapped his fingers together "Oh, dear, that's not good, see this is from our winter stock, where supply and demand have big problem" Oaken explained to her
"You want to talk about a supply and demand problem? I sell ice for a living" she said motioning her head towards the window "Ooh. That's rough business to be in right now" Andrew rambled to the girl "I mean, that is really" Andrew stopped talking looking at the look on her face "That's unfortunate" Andrew cleared his throat
"Please shut up" I spoke shaking my hand on my head "Yes, listen to her" the lady said agreeing with me "Still 40, but I will throw in a visit to Oaken's sauna" Oaken waved towards a sauna "Too-hoo, hi family" He waving to the five people sitting inside
I awkwardly waved to the family turning my head back to the people in front of me "10 is all I got, help me out" she begged
"Okay, 10 will get you this and no more" she stood there dumbfounded "Okay, just tell me one thing" I asked but was cut off
"What was happening on the North Mountain? Did it seem magical?" Andrew pestered the girl with his question, the girl pulls down the mask that was covering her mouth exhaling "Yes! Now, back up while I deal with this crook, here" she said pointing at Oaken
Oaken stood up from his seat bordering over the girl "Well it was nice knowing you for a while" I spoke knowing it was about to go down, she gulps and was very intimidated "What did you call me?" he asked coming from around the counter and picking her up and threw her out and coming back behind the counter
"I'm sorry about this violence, I will add a quart of lutefisk, so we have good feelings, just the outfits and the boots, yah?" Oaken asked happily "Uh..these too, I said placing what the girl was going to buy on the counter
Once we paid for the items we changed into the outfits

Andrew and I burst through the door "Nice duet" we said as she let out a surprise gasp jumping along with the reindeer "Oh it's just you guys, what do you want?" she sighed not caring
"We want you to take us up the North mountain" Andrew stated I looked at him with a bitch-you-can't-be-serious-where-the-hell-are-your-manners face, I cleared my throat "What he meant to say is would you so kindly take us to the North Mountain" I said emphasizing the kindly
"I don't take people places" she sighed placing her beanie over her face, I stood there dumbfounded "Let me rephrase that" I spoke and threw the bag that was in my hands at her stomach
A loud grunt left her mouth "Hey" she said furrowing her brows "Take us up the North Mountain, please" I asked letting myself become vulnerable, the reindeer started sniffing the the bag. The girl started looking inside grabbing the ice axe and rope "Look, we know how to stop this winter" Andrew spoke
She sighs and lays back down putting her beanie over her face "We leave at dawn" she paused "And you forgot the carrots for Sven" she finished, so that's what his name is.
I handed Andrew the other bag who threw it at the girls face "Oops, sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I didn't..." Andrew says apologizing "Really" I said turning and looking Andrew rubbing my temples "It was an accident" he muttered
"We leave now, right now" Andrew says placing his hand on his hip trying to take charge and walks out the door with me following behind "We're gonna find him" I said smiling
"I never did apologize for my outburst and for telling Elson that you didn't love him anymore" he apologized, I looked down from him and sighed "What you did was uncalled for and it really hurt me" I spoke softly recalling what happened "I may forgive you but I don't think I'll forget" I said pulling him into a hug.
We went and sat in the sled as the girl came out and put the reins on Sven "I'm Y/n and this Andrew" I said referring to Andrew "I'm Kristina" she smiled "Alright let's go" she said as our journey began. ____________________________________ Words: 1409
