shin was originally born in ohio and living there until she was 14 and moved to reseda. that's where she spent time just living her normal life but she didn't really quite like how they moved and since then she has been taught karate by her brother. she was really interested in karate which caused her to be interested cobra kai along side aisha in season 1 but never actually joined cobra kai.

shin likes many things like martial arts, reading, music and dancing(even though he sucks at it)

she also sucks at cooking so she dislikes it,she's also really bad at drawing things so she avoids that,
