" My brain is hardwired for Greek, so when it reads English it gets pissed." I joke.

" Then, I'll read to you, Doll." Jason smiled, then got his book.

" Really?" I asked. I'd always wanted to read a classic book, or just a book in general, but had never had the motivation to try.

" Sure." He shrugged, smiling at me, " Get comfy, Doll."

I rolled my eyes but sunk down a little so I could lay on him. Jason put his arm around my shoulder and opened his book, " You sure you want to restart from the beginning?"

" Yeah, I don't mind." Jason assured, " you cozy?"

" Yeah." I smiled at him.

" Alright." Jason smiled back, then started reading the book. His voice was very soothing and interesting to hear him change his voice with the characters. I don't even remember falling asleep.

" Percy. Percy, wake up."

" Hmh?" I asked. I opened my eyes to see Damian standing at the side of the bed. Jason wasn't anywhere to be seen.

" He's in the shower. And I have to say, I find it irresponsible to sleep in another mans bed who's not courting you." Damian rolled his eyes.

I mimicked him, then closed my eyes, " Did you come in here just to call me a ho?"

" No. I would like to train with you since I now know that you are capable of holding a sword. And I would like to spar with you not holding back." Damian nodded at me.

" What time is it?" I asked.

" Nine-thirty."

" Fine." I sat up then walked to my room. Quickly changing into some sweatpants and a t-shirt I walk out to see Damian waiting on me. " What all have you been learning in school?"

" I haven't learned anything. I already knew everything." Damian rolled his eyes.

" Did you know that clownfish will turn into females if all of its sisters have died?" I asked.

Damian stared at me with his green eyes. His eyebrows were pushed together, " Why would I know that. And why would I want to know that?"

I looked away, pretending that Damian not caring for my fun fact didn't hurt. But why would he care about it? He's not a marine biology major. I cleared mg throat, " I dunno. I thought it was a pretty cool defense mechanism. A way to ensure a population growth or stabilizer."

Damian waited a few seconds, " I did not know that, though."

I smiled. He most definitely said that just to make me feel better, and it worked. " You learn something everyday."

" I don't want you to go easy on me." Damian warned.

" You're an eleven year old, I'm going easy on you."

" I've probably had more training in my eleven years than you have in your nineteen." Damian growled, getting his katana from the rack.

" I'm twenty. And I don't doubt that. But I don't want to hurt you, Dami." I got Riptide from my pocket.

" You're twenty?" Damian looked down after I nodded. " We missed your birthday?"

" It's fine, Damian." I assured. I was kind of happy that Damian cares enough about me to feel bad missing my birthday. But it wasn't a big deal, and I told him that.

" Did you celebrate with your friends?" Damian asked.

I didn't have the heart to tell him that the few people who knew, forgot or didn't do anything. So I lied, " Yes. We got dinner and watched a movie. Can we spar now?"
