She ambled forward, her feet moving with thud of broken branch falling. The red sleeve was crinkled at places as if it had wrestled with all its might. The fair, flawless skin clenched tightly trapping the air, venting on its anger; frustrations let loose.
The fist opened, the air regaining its freedom in vain, it spread wide on the pristine, hard wall. Her head dangled, dropping down; the wall indifferently gave support like a cane of an old man.
The room was empty, save for two occupants.
"Just, just.... why did that, happen..."
"You paved this path. There's no cave to retreat to. No mother to embrace in sorrow."
"N-no..."
"Do you feel it? Can you see the horizon of your new land?"
Her knees folded, she fell down followed by a loud noise. Just like a bird with its wings cut off.
"I've to admit; your state greatly arouses my curiosity."
The girl leaned on the wall, light sniffling and whimpering escaping her hidden face.
"The sensations coursing through, how is it?"
"My mind-"
"No."
The whisper of the lone boy echoed in the silent space.
"You're not losing your mind, it's being stolen."
