Although the countless other logical explanations as to why Chip wouldn't be found in his hammock, Gillion still felt the heaviness in his chest from his anxious thoughts. Gillion had already woken up to worrying marks and bruises on his chest, what if whoever had inflicted these injuries upon him had done worse to Chip? Before becoming overwhelmed completely by his worries, Gillion took a few deep breaths, continuing his way up to the top deck, where he'll most likely see Chip and Jay safe and happy up there. He was hoping that would be what he'd see at least. With this final thought, Gillion did just that. He found himself taking in a few more breaths, with more ease this time, always finding it impossible to ignore the fresh salty air that the ocean seemed to constantly possess, it always being a calming and grounding few moments, which he could definitely use as for this morning's antics.

Looking around, he felt himself slowly begin to panic once again worry, not seeing Chip anywhere within his vision. However, he did spot Jay and made his way over as quickly as he could. Though as he began, he felt a stinging pain to his abdomen, hissing and grabbing at the area quickly, just barely keeping balance from the sudden surge of pain. As he looked, sure enough, he saw his blood on his hand. Panicked, Gillion lifted his sleeveless turtleneck to see what had caused the injury, seeing a simple mark of something that'd result from a blade or something of the like. Before he could look around or investigate further, Jay's voice interrupted Gillion's confused state,

"Hey, Gill! I- Uh... You okay? What happened..?" She furrowed her brows seeing the cut he had on his stomach, walking over and checking over him.

"I... I do not know. I was going to come and ask you if you had seen Chip at all this morning and suddenly I felt this pain... I have not come into contact with anything that would do this..." As Gillion explained, he brought his hand back to his stomach, closing his eyes as a familiar blue hue surrounded and twirled around the triton's writs and hands, the healing magic covering his abdomen, removing his hands, Gillion sighed upon seeing his skin unmarked. He cleaned up the surrounding area, looking up and meeting Jay's eyes, a worried and puzzled look crossing her features.

"Is he not sleeping..? He usually sleeps in- and what do you mean you don't know?"

To lessen Jay's worries, despite his own growing, Gillion took five or so minutes to fully explain how his morning had been going. The markings and injuries on his chest, the fact he hadn't felt any other presence, magic or corporeal, with him whilst he was injured. Everything. During this time, Gillion made sure to add in his usual optimism, that he was sure Chip is alright and safe, and mentioned that the two of them had not checked the entirety of The Albatross, so perhaps he was still here somewhere. Nearing the end of Gillion's explanations and reassurances of Jay, another sting came from his side. This time it felt less like a slash, more so feeling as if he had been stabbed. He winced and gripped his side tightly, just barely keeping his balance before he felt Jay support him by grabbing one of his arms. Looking to his side, the green-blue stain of blood slowly started to grow. Before Gillion could act upon it, he watched as Jay carefully placed a shaky hand onto where the stain seemed to originate, a flash of confusion at the lack of rip or tear in the fabric of Gillion's clothing. Without another word, Jay's bright green magic started to concentrate around the area where Gillion had been 'stabbed', Jay's eyes not focused on Gillion's side, but something else.

When she pulled away from Gillion, allowing him space to stand on his own, she spoke up quickly, most likely interrupting a thank you from Gillion. "Gill... When you got hurt just then... I don't think it was from here..." Seeing the puzzled look on Gillion's face, she sighed and grabbed his hand, pulling it up in front of his own face so that he was looking at the back of his hand. From there, she let go, tapping a small silver band on Gillion's finger twice before looking at him worriedly. "Is... Is that the ring of shared injury..? The same one Chip has..?"
