Lena seemed to pout a bit as she is being reminded that she has things to do. "I'll see you later love! Your belongs should already be in your room!" She said before patting my shoulder and then was gone in a blink.
I slowly blinked at her speed since all I saw before she left was flashes of blue. Angela just laughed softly and shook her, "I'll see you later as well (first name), Cassidy please make sure he gets settled in alright." She said looking at him.
He just smirked and tilted his hat at her, "don't worry doc, he's in good hands."
"(First name) if he steps out of bounds just tell me." She said giving me a small smile before she started to leave.
"Aye! I ain't that bad!" He said after her, huffing softly and going to lean against the wall near my door.
'...great... now I'm left alone with the cowboy...'
I huffed quietly and looked at the paper Angela had given to me, it was folded neatly, my name written on the top. I hummed as I went to open it. 1379 was written on it, which I cocked a brow at.
'...numbers??...'
I huffed quietly and went to open the door, only to see no handle. I gave a confused look but before I could ask the cowboy what was up he had moved to lean in front of my door looking down at me. His arms where crossed over his chest, a cigar placed between his fingers. "Are ya really eighteen?" He asked me.
I blinked slowly at him, like the question was out of the blue, well it really was. "Yeah. I mean I just turned eighteen not too long ago." I said giving a little shrug. "Why?" I asked cocking a brow at him.
He moved to place the cigar between his lips. "Well because darlin, you look like you're maybe fourteen. Sixteen at the oldest. You sure don't have the voice to fit. Which don't bother me none, jus' makes it hard to believe is all."
I just sighed, moving to look down at the paper again. Now I really don't want his Help. Not only do I not know how to open a door with no handle but he's leaning against said door. He moved to quickly pluck the piece of paper from my hands which causes my head to shoot up. But before I protest, he had moved swiftly to be behind me. The hand with the paper was placed in front of me. Between his pointer finger and thumb while his other hand tapped a lil screen by the door, bring it to life. "It sure would have help ya if the doc told ya what these lil numbers did instead of assuming huh?" He said a little cockiness in his down as the began to type the numbers into the pad. "Now darlin' since I got yer attention I'd like ta ask you something."
My breathing hitched slightly at how close he was to me and a little fearful at what his question might be. I just gave a small "Hm" as I shoved my hands into my hoodie pocket.
He let out a breathe chuckle, "now darlin, it ain't anything to be scared about. I just wanna ask why you've been eye fuckin me since you saw me." He said lowly, right as the doors slid open.
I let out a pretty audible squeak, "I-I don't know what you mean!" I stated, quickly moving into the now open room, "A-anyways thanks for you help!".
"Now hold up darlin'." He said moving to place his hand to catch the door before it shut, moving to follow in. I turned to face him only to be staring in to his chest. I squeaked again moving back a bit. He laughed a bit, the cocky grin still on his face. "We ain't done talkin'. Now you say you don't know what I mean, but nothing gets past me when its in my line of site." He said stepping forward. I kept stepping back till my back hit the other end of the small room. He moved to put his arm to rest right above my head as me leaned down to get to eye level with me. He was extremely close to my face. I felt my cheeks start to heat up a bit and I quickly moved my hands and placed them on his chest plate. He's more that likely able to take me down, but I could still try to push him back by surprise... if needed.
"Well darlin' are ya gonna explain why you've been basically eye fuckin me since you saw me outside?" He said in a low tone.
"E-excuse?" I squeaked out, cursing myself mentally for not sounding as stern as I wanted.
"You know exactly what I mean sweet pea. Now, I'm willing to let it slide since yer new and a mighty pretty thin'. Plus Gabes already made it clear he'd kill me if I tried anythin'." He said, throwing in a lil joking tone at the last part.
I just let out a scuff, moving to shove him back a bit. "Now listen here cowboy." I said puffing my cheeks slightly. He moved to stand up straight cocking a brow at me. "As if I'd ever even consider being with you from first glance let alone first day. I think you give yourself waaay too much credit Mr. Cassidy." I said huffing, moving to cross my arms over my chest. Mentally trying to chill the blushing mess on my face.
He blinked slowly at me and for a moment everything was quiet, but before I could worry about over stepping he just bursted out into a little laughing fit. Placing a hand to cover his eyes while the other hand moved to take the cigar. "Jesus Christ (first name) yer truly are somethin! I don't think I've heard anyone call me mister with such sass or attitude. Yer definitely sitting next to me and Genji fer dinner tonight." He said calming his laughter down to a soft chuckle.
But before I could protest he hooked a finger under my chin and made me look up at him. Using his thumb to keep me in place, forcing eye contact. "But jus' so ya know darlin', I'll be takin those remarks as a challenge." He said smirking down at me. I felt my face start heating up again and swallowed hard. "But I'd also try to keep them pretty lil eyes of yers to yerself" he said before letting go of my chin. Moving to place his hat on my head, "see you at dinner sweet heart. I'll be coming back for that before hand." He said smirking before he moved to open the door and leave.
The hat moved and fell mostly forward, hiding my most likely beat red face. Now I was left alone. Again. Left to process everything I've learned today as well as everything that happened. Leaving myself to question what I got myself into. I just side, moving to take the hat, looking at all the wear and tear. "Seriously... what did I get myself into?" I asked myself allowed as I moved to set the hat on top of the dresser. "Might as well start unpacking I guess" I murmured softly as I looked at the few small bags I brought will. It wasn't a lot of stuff, but I didn't have a lot of stuff to begin with. So it worked out perfect.
'...Here goes nothing I guess...'
